My pink toe really scared me last night I’m new to exotic . I may be overreacting but she eating slow and I don’t think she’s drinking enough water any tips on terrium or anything not done by the book to make her comfortable she has been with me for about a month and is growing normally I bought the kit so ik the terrium and temp is normal but how do make sure she’s not overfed or overheating? I just need some kind of answers I was up all night monitoring her I think she’s in pre molt and I’m doing the research but google has so unhelpful so far?!

They are mildly venomous rear fanged calubrids.

The spider gene did not originate from the normal ball python gene..the original spider was a wild caught import it was not hatched and made from a normal kevin from nerd purchased the first spider import from another breeder and successfully proved it out at first they didn't know if it was a gene or just some wonky one chance pattern normal..but it proved to be its own gene ..so in the beginning of this video when she said the spider gene originally came from a normal she is completely wrong there are spiders in the wild they are not normals and never came from a normal

I want to get a snake but I got 6 pet rats. I will not feed a snake a rat or mouse. Dead or alive. They are to smart, sweet, lovable for that. (Obviously I would never feed my pet rats) If I buy a feeder rat I would end up keeping it as a pet to. But is there a type of water snake that eats small fish? I could possibly handle that. Idk much about fish and not that into them. Or crickets I could possibly deal with feeding crickets. Or is a snake not for me? I'm more of a rat person than a snake.

I just got a pink toe last week,it molted this morning, her?..name is pudding. As soon as she eats I will remove the molt and try to tell if he's a girl..lol😊

Thank you for this! I recently acquired two emoji morph ball pythons from a friend that could not bring them to the home they were moving into. I've been struggling with humidity and misting multiple times a day only to have the humidity drop to 30% within just a few minutes. I took your advice and placed a towel on top of their cages opposite of the heat lamp and the humidity went right up to where it should be. Perfect timing too as they JUST started into a shed cycle. :)

I got a baby savannah monitor and i think its like 2-4 weeks. The monitor would sleep all day ate on the second day but no water the third day the monitor didnt eat or drink water still. Since ive gotten it I've been socializing and picking the monitor up. And i put water in this bowl and i let the monitor drink while in my hand and i been doing this the last two days only had it five days.

Yea I messed up at first. I handled my snake the first day lol. My snake is weird she can be chill sometimes and other times she just strike at anything that moves.

What do I do if I’m having trouble feeding my snake??

I feel like dogs are the ONLY animal where a wagging/twitching tail means that they're happy. In most other animals it means they're either irritated or feeling predatory. When my cats twitch their tails it's time to stop handling them and let the sweet little guys have their personal space back!❤

Just a note: newspaper ink is toxic over time so maybe use some hay instead? You can get it at pet stores in overpriced little bags or probably get a small bale of it for much cheaper at a feed store... or you could just collect some grass from a spot where you know pesticides haven't been used for free. It'll dry naturally and the mice will happily use it as it's often what they use in the wild! I couldn't feed the cute little pirate mouse at the start of the video. 😅❤❤❤

I was at the park during the eclipse and i saw a snake so my ex fiance picked it up and we took turns holding it and it was so cute how the snake wrapped itself around my fingers and was licking my skin i fell in love and now need a pet snake.
