The children of class 6th nowadays know so many bad things .they know how to verbal abuse , cursing and they even make pornographic sound intentionally . I HAVE SEEN IT . and I feel so ashamed to live in this world . They're so many cursing words which even the kids nowadays use which are related to women's, sister,mother etc .

In my observation, a lot of indian parents suffer themselves because they never got the required attention from their parents, and somehow end up expecting their children to provide them with that attention, which they were supposed to give their kids. We cannot even blame our parents, because mostly they are victims too. And neither can we invalidate or undermine the suffering it causes their children emotionally. For those of you finding yourselves commenting here that this behaviour is displayed by your parents, I am with you all too. My heart goes out for all who's been experiencing this. I hope you find something that works for you best in dealing with these issues.

I'm the second child nd my I've a elder sister. She was always that golden child. I was weak in studies because I didn't like to study. I have discalculic nd my parents didn't know that. My father always loved her more . People started to compare us, even my parents. They were like "we fed u same things, we're giving u the same environment. Then why r u not good in studies?"... They started to compare me with other children also. It broke me. Now I'm a rebellious woman. I love my parents, but I always stand for myself now. I don't let them insult me anymore. Nd I'm a patient of depression and anxiety. My parents are actually very nice people, but unintentionally they hurt me during my childhood nd teen age time.

Coming to the Indian traditional system of education. No one may deny that Chanakya is one of its greatest outcomes..he was an economist who is more known for kootneeti, or diplomacy, a completely separate subject. He is also renowned for his political acumen. But he should have studied only economics.

I agree that the current education system is based on rote learning in areas where the teachers are too overworked or underpaid or untrained but that doesn't mean that the design is wrong.

Even in US, where there is plenty of choice, a counselor picks the subjects in consultation with student, mostly picking a different subtopics every year from one main subject groups so that adequate time is there for understanding them. And mostly the best Indian students are still besting the best American educated ones. Had Raj been studying there, he probably would have to take geography in one of the years, where he would have learnt most of what is taught in India till 10th.

My cousin's are 4,6, 9 and the amount of swear words they use is heinous. Their parents don't even try to correct them and if you complain they will attack you. Their are 24/7 on their mobiles and parents dont care bc they want solitude.
