Well done. I was amazed at how you played this piece -- with so much beauty and varied expression. And when I scrolled down to post a comment, I saw in you pinned comment that this was exactly what you were trying to do. Bravo!!

I'm always a little worried. Who is filming the boy? Is he or she putting pressure on him to keep playing new pieces? Why isn't the child getting a teacher, etc. The person filming should show himself once to calm things down.

@@aufbrechen I made this channel because I wanted to have my own piano channel because I like watching other piano channels. I am the one who decides when I want to make a video

That’s lovely, Leander. Another short one you might like along these lines would be Ivan Sings by Khachaturian. Playing softly and slowly in a fluid way is really hard, isn’t it? It’s the opposite end of the spectrum from stride piano!

Wonderful! I've been watching hummingbirds at my feeder all day, and these two pieces are just like them. I don't know why they haven't migrated yet--- weather has been in the low 30's for a week now! 🎶🎵🎶

I love hummingbirds, I have two feeders for them when they are here in the Spring and Summer, can't wait for them to return. You played those so well, especially the ending of the second piece!

It must be great to have that bad key fixed and the piano tuned. You sound even better now and we enjoy you even more. You always bring a smile to this old musician. So happy you're back home and everyone is alright. Great job, Leander.

Beautiful tune and you played it beautifully. It must seem extraordinarily slow to you? You seem to gravitate toward Rags and rapid-tempo compositions. I hope you find enjoyment in these as well.

Dear Leander, you have brought me so much delight with your energy, joyful music and your smile. I play your music over and over because it so full of liveliness and loveliness. Yet please remember you are a boy, with a world full of things and adventures to discover. You are a famous pianist now, but you have the potential to be an explorer of an infinite world. Be Leander, wherever life beckons.

This sounds very, very much inspired by Debussy's " Le Petite Negre" which preceeds this by decades. Particularly the opening bars.
