I'm in a new house doing it up. Had this debate today. I'm wanting to put on coving . My son in law suggested paint wall then put on coving as won't have cutting in to do . But I'm in the impression of putting coving on first as I said how do you keep adhesive clean and off painted wall. Obviously in an older house walls wont be perfectly flat so may have gaps to fill . I'm thinking cutting in up to coving is way to go .

@@danielnugentpainteranddeco557 yes that's what I'm going to do . Been using this on a customers hall, stairs and landing recently and I was pleasantly surprised. The opacity was excellent and covered for 2 but I did ease it up a little as I found it a bit thick and scratchy if that makes sense? Also dries a bit urgent so just watch out for that when it comes to keeping that wet edge going. I'd definitely use it again but for the cost per gallon, I'd say dulux heritage is a better bet. 👍

Hi Daniel, I used it a couple of weeks ago after recommending it to my customer. Unfortunately they had me paint the whole room in the inchyra blue modern emulsion before realising it's the wrong sheen level for a lounge really so I went over it again in the dead flat - including the woodwork! Great stuff to work with really. People are right, Estate emulsion is a nightmare for marking etc but what they don't realise ( and customer won't pay for ) is that you are supposed to use a F&B primer underneath first!
