How To Store A Wet Roller Sleeve Without Using A Bag Or Washing It Out

I came across this on MyPaintbrush online and thought what a great idea as I constantly use a 9 inch roller for ceilings in white and carry it from job to job without washing it out. I usually bag it but having to go through plastic bags and sometimes getting debris stuck to the roller sleeve from dried out paint in the messy bag I thought time for something new.
This is brilliant because you can store the roller sleeve and frame or take the frame off and twist the lid for long term storage. It also has a clear window so you can see what colour you are using. Genius and professional looking too.

Nice one, Im glad im not the only decorator who has loads of kit , the crazy thing is i only use a handful of the same kit daily but have enough on site for a whole company 😂

After a few days you end up with a flakey roller. I have 3 of them. They are good for keeping the rollers tidy that's all, you still need them in a bag inside the tube. Which kind of defeats the purpose a bit.

Hmm I use cling wrap and write the colour on there. Never had a problem

This is so much clearer I use a scourer on a stick with fairy liquid inside to clea it out. Customers lover it

Excellent idea. Any tips on keeping oil brushes wet? Im at my wits end. Brush boxes are crap. Seems they changed the fluid as well. Not as strong. Not a fan of leaving them in water either. Perhaps a tin with a screw lid and vapour pad?🤔😮‍💨🤷‍♂️
