@@FastTrackTutorials yes I already started with course and I can tell you that there is no single course like this in market right now....I know how much time it takes to first perfect artwork yourself and then re do it for recording tutorial....all the best....definitely looking for more character courses from you in future.

Love FastTrack tutorials, I own most of your courses and I've learned so much from the content you've put out. However, I am disappointed with the pricing structure of this course. An extra $20 for un-timelapsed footage and twice the price to get the assets? Looking at the description and the comparisons between the course length (13 hours) and the Untimelapsed length (75 hours) it sounds like a lot of valuable or helpful content will be left on the cutting room floor just buying the base version of the course. I think I'll be skipping this one.

I’m inclined to respectfully disagree for two reasons: -I have never seen a FTT timelapse that involved something that hasn’t already been covered extensively. You say you own most of his courses, wouldn’t you agree that is true? -it’s $10 extra for 62 additional hours of instruction if you really find it necessary. I have never edited 70 hours of footage but that seems more than fair. I hope this does not read as an attack or an argument, I simply feel the need to also express my opinion for the sake of new people who might be considering their first course, and so FTT and other similar creators can hear the other side of their audience. This content is badly needed, and if you compare to traditional education pricing we aren’t even in the same ball park. If it’s between asking people to pay a little extra for a lot more footage, or not being able to sustainably produce any content at all, wouldn’t you rather the creator do the former? This isn’t an EA microtransaction, it’s a couple guys trying to get by on teaching what they love.

Yeah I've found FastTracks stuff to be among the best on the internet for the price. Especially for environment art. I'd happily pay twice as much for any of their courses given the value and the amount of knowledge packed into them which is why I keep coming back. There are a couple of things that make this feel different though. Firstly, the amount of timelapsed content in the course. Previous courses have had maybe 5 or 6 hours of timelapsed content for a 30+ hour course. Whereas this one supposedly contains 75 hours of footage in a 13 hour course. Which makes me wonder how fast the content is sped up, or how much non-timelapsed footage the course actually contains. I've also found interesting tricks or additional understanding in the previous un-timelapsed footage, especially when dealing with some of the more complicated processes. Secondly, the lack of assets included unless you spend twice the amount of money makes it difficult for anyone wanting to learn a workflow for a specific software package, or simply checking their work against something professionally done, which is one of the best ways of checking how much you've learned and can help uncover any potential issues you've come across. Again I said before, I'd happily spend twice as much for a FastTrack course so it's not the money that's a problem to me, it's the principal of offering multiple payment tiers for content that should be helpful, and potentially required in this case, for everyone's learning journey.

first of all lets ask ourselfes what can be done there for 75h?? we starting i see from base mesh, prop from previous course, no texturing yet, seems very extensive timlapse for that state of the model.

How much would a AAA model of an existing character from a legacy console game cost? I've switched to Fiverr twice, once through an external, but would like something more polished.

Depends on the complexity but most of the time it will cost multiple thousands of dollars for a true AAA character

After making the character model, now slice it up into modular pieces so changing clothes is possible. Did not setup your model for slicing? Whooops....
