Your daughter is a proper Mini Dave, you look so alike. This is my first glimpse of your channel. My hubby and I are planning a super basic van build which is basically a protected bed because i have fibromyalgia. I don't want an aged manky leaking motorhome or caravan with orange looking woodwork and furnishings. I would rather have the most basic van without electric behind walls everywhere. We won't be heading out in lousy weather as that is when my health is the worst. We won't be living in it, just giving me a change of scenery when well enough. We have almost everything for camping already inc tents which our adult kids will use, hook up electric to extension lead, power bank, lots of led lights, a fridge, cooking facilities inc cutlery, plates, utensils, pans, gas double stove, washing up trug with aquaroll for clean water, a bog, air fryer, halogen cooker, breville one cup which boils a mug full of water at a time. My husband had a previous few nights away in our Citroën C4 Super Picasso which has seats that fold flat into the floor, allowing a mattress to be thrown in as the most basic night away from home when on a course. .. so we need a proper bed, night heater and awning and a few other bits I have been jotting down as I recall. The van needs insulation and the double passenger seat switching for a single. I don't know how you managed with that 'bed' long term hence i have subscribed so i can hopefully find out. I thought that beam was for the middle of Ikea beds, not as a bed in itself. Thanks for a good video 👍🏼 /G x

I think it's also aimed as neighbours etc I have neighbours that think they can just tresspass on garden drive whenever they feel like it , if asked not to they become abusive , I think if I wanted to go wild camping I would just ask the land owner as long as you leave land as you found it they would probably be fine

How does the switch get wired if it has both black and red wires.

Switch can be wired any way round, all it’s doing is just making and breaking a circuit.

Completely agree with the throttle. You can get one separately, but the legality is a somewhat grey area imo. The rules seem rather stupid, especially the ones based on dates. How they can prove a bike is post or pre-2016 by glancing at it is beyond me. I'm rehabing a knee injury and sometimes overdo it. That throttle could make a real difference in getting home safely. I'm switching from a mountain bike to this. As in a city, it just seems so much more practical. Also, I can use pedal assist when my knee feels too tired. I'm getting the Colorway version (same company from research) it comes with a pannier bag for the back rack. Nice video, mate.

One of my knees gets done from time to time. I popped my kneecap in my skateboarding days, and it hasn't been the same since. Thanks for the reply and the kind words. I'm looking forward to the new bike.

I have the same bike, no issues with the electronics, but huge issue with the tyres. Keeps going flat after a minute of riding. Changed the inner tube twice still flat. What should I do?

Me personally, I’m not using it, but Taff is. When I spoke to him the other day, he said that battery doesn’t go below 90% - so from that I’d say he’s chuffed with it

I must say I have tried mine on a VW Passat that had an EML on. I did manage to read and erase the fault code and also was able to check live data. I have also tried it on the camper and works fine. Possibly a funny batch made or incorrect software? But mine works fine.

@ jury is still out I think I’ll hold off purchasing for now. Great review. I'm only 5 feet 3 tall or small hehe, do you think this bike will be to high for me? Also I'm 64 years old and not to strong 😢 I bought a folding ebike about 6 weeks ago and am enjoying it, but it's not good with bumps, it's uncomfortable for me at times! Thanks
