Hi, you are correct I had the standard EU spec rims / tires. You will be glad to hear that the birds nest wheels are a direct swap, they even use the original wheel nuts. The only mods you will need to make are : 1/ the front wheel arch lip extension, handling pack. 2/ rear wheel arch handling pack stone guard. 3/ I fitted some extra stone guards to the front lower wheel arch to help prevent the sides of the car being damaged. My tires are 305 front, 325 rear, no issues. Try Harry at Nemesis UK or John at Steeda EU for prices on the wheels, tell them I sent you lol. Thanks for watching my videos 👍🏼

Hi, I decided to fit the drivers side as I was not sure if I needed it. I would still fit one on the driver's side dispite there being no oil in it at the time I checked it as I want to be 100% sure no oil will get into the intake manifold and valves in the future. Thanks for watching 👍🏼

Hi Peter, thanks for watching. Regards the funnel for the air inlet ford had already closed it in behind the grille. I took out the cover and discovered that the side was open next to the radiator. I wanted to create a funnel as no aftermarket company offers one for the M1. I used some strong flexible black plastic to form the two sides of the funnel. I started with a larger section and just kept cutting small pieces off until it fitted. It did take some time, probably 3 hours for both sides. I drilled some small holes and used push pins to hold the panels in place. When finished I had made a proper funnel that in conjunction with the air box cover gives me true ram air from the front of the car. When fabricating these panels I just had to keep taking them out, making cuts, then installing them again over and over until they were perfect and look like factory installation. There are a lot KZbin movies where they advised to install one, did you ever experience problems with your oil temperature, especially with the hot temperatures in Spain?

Hi, the active exhaust works the same. Only difference is the sound, it's louder but still has that deep tone. When the H pipe is installed, Normal mode will be similar to the original track mode sound and track mode is now 1 stage louder but in a good way with all the lovely V8 sound. I really like the sound, I did not want it raspy or ridiculous loud and it's not. For me it's perfect. Thanks for watching 👍🏼

But I think Spain is similar to California, regarding emissions and its not easy to modify cars here. But the country is beautiful, I live by the sea.. Y son I law lives here, he is from New York. Hi, I will check this with the Ford dealer as I not heard of that with modern batteries. One side note, if I drive the car for 3 or 4 hours the battery is being charged, I'm not sure how that is different to using a charger? Thanks for your input and watching my video

Hi, I have the European version of the Mach 1 which I have been told by the Ford dealership here in Spain has a more rigid body and different anti roll bars to meet European specs, I honestly don't know if that's correct or not. For the springs I assumed that they were the same with all Mach 1s as you can change the suspension stiffness with the magna ride settings? The car is not lowered and for the areas I live in with speed ramps and pot holes I honestly would not want it any lower. It drives really well in normal suspension mode which is great for daily driving. Thanks for watching 👍🏼

Thanks for the response I was just wondering because in the US the base and the HP Mach 1 have different springs. I have a base Mach and want to do the HP parts as well. Yours looks GREAT! Also when you are detailing the car are you using anything on the vinyl hood decal or just soap and water. In the video your hood strip looks really good

@@miked-2270 I did not know that, but as I don't use it for track days ect the springs that are fitting as standard are absolutely fine. I have used harder magna ride settings but unless you are on a good road surface it's not comfortable after a few miles. It sits really nice with just the HP wheels and MPS 4S tyres. I just use soap and water on the decal, I don't want any different finish, the original is perfect. On the rest of the car I use Gyeon ceramic detailer after waxing, honestly it's amazing stuff with a great shine and really easy to apply and Polish off 👍🏼

Not sure if it's a poor quality battery or that the battery was left discharged for a long period of time as my car took over 6 months to arrive after it left the factory, it was in Newark for 3 months. Hi, so I have not taken the car on the track as yet, not many here unfortunately. In Spain I have to be careful of the guarantee as it's different to the US. To be honest the car drives amazingly with the HP wheels, smooth, slight wander on some roads due to ruts but with the magna ride it's just planted normally at any speed. I know you can adjust the front camber with the HP cars but honestly I don't need that for road use. I have been told by the Ford dealer here that the European version of the Mach 1 is different to the US in that it had different thicker anti roll bars and body rigidity to pass EU spec tests, not sure if that's correct? Did your car have a HydroCarbon filter and did you remove it? Has that and the Airaid filter returned any CEL on the car? Any noticeble performance improvement with this mod? Did the H Pipe return any CEL? Will the car pass emissions test with the above mods? Has the driver side catchcan returned any oil and do you think only the passenger SIDE is worth it? Blacked out tail lights look awesome but are they legal? With the HP wheels did you have any aquaplanning issues in the wet and do feel the need to install any subframe Steeda swaybars or braces? Was the reservour painted or installed a new blacked out cover part? Thanks again and hope you don't mind all the questions. Regards and enjoy the beautiful car!

@@jonyfrommars Hi, no problem, happy to help if I can. The Euro spec Mach 1s don't have the HC filter luckily but they do unfortunately have the GPF filter in the exhaust system, I'm not sure how restrictive it is? I have no CEL lights for the air filter or H pipe. I have not dynoed the car but it feels more responsive. Neither the air filter or H pipe should affect the emissions. My passenger catch can does have oil in it that would be in the inlet manifold and valves, it's definitely worth doing. Nothing on the driver side as yet but I installed it just to be sure. The tail lights might not pass the car inspection but they are easy to remove if needed. We really don't get much rain in Spain, but the few times I have been our when it's wet I have had no issues. I have not upgraded the suspension, I might do it in the future, but the car handles great as is. The expansion tank has a cover fitted to it, you could paint I suppose but the cover is easier. Contacted Ford in Spain when the S650 will be released, but they couldn't give an exact date, a little bit strange as you can order them in the rest of Europe. Still struggling what to choose, go for the mach 1 or dark horse🤔. At the launch of the s650 I wasn't sure about the looks but it seems that it is growing on me. Luxury problems😂

@@patrickfabrie1573 Hi Patrick, how's it going. It was a good event and I'm going to Madrid on the 20th of this month for the 60th anniversary of the Mustang, that will also be good. Regards the new Mustang S650, when they are released you will probably wait a year for delivery no matter what the dealer tells you. You may be lucky enough to find one that a dealer has preordered but you won't get to choose any personal specs. I ordered my Mach 1 on 22nd April 2022, it arrived in September 2023. The mach 1 option has finished now with the S650, you have the dark horse. You can still get a new Mach 1 from a few Ford dealers and should be able get a good price. I hope to catch up soon 👍🏼

I have tried to research this to understand if I can help airflow / performance. So the new S650s have closed airboxs that take air from the front grille. The Mach 1 has an extended airbox intake that has a blanking cover fitted. I have removed the cover to allow cold pressurised air directly into the airbox. The benefits of low air inlet temps are worth having for many reasons. I have also fitted a cover to my airbox. There is no wire or fixing pre installation for fog lights. Hi, sorry, I'm not sure what you mean by "black inserts"? If you are using the Airdesign make I removed the largest air vent that is held with screws, the other two were taped as they were not easy to remove. Underneath the Airdesign come with ready cut mat black vinyl that you stick to the hood so you can't see the paint of the hood when you look through the vent. Hi, iv actually done the opposite. I have closed the air box from taking hot air from under the hood. The rubber seal does not prevent hot air entering the airbox. Then I have removed the cover to allow more pressurised cold air to enter the air box. If you watch both my videos you will understand. Thanks for watching
