Hi Ice, car looks fantastic. The total wheel diameter does come down a bit so yes, car is lower. With new wheels, notice any handling improvement on stock shocks? The HP does include different springs with those wheels. Did you need to change car document for those sizes and was it necessary to get a dealer approval for the 325s? Cheers

Hi, it definitely feels lower, the car actually looks lowered. The car handles really well, I did a google search an it looks like the shocks are the same on all Mach 1s with Magna ride. I have not changed any documentation, the wheels are official Ford Performance items and TBH the dealer does not seem to care, they love my car. Thanks for watching :)

After driving both, i went for the Mach 1, one owner, 4300 miles, I'm in England, rare sight over here. Absolutely love it, plenty quick enough, surprised how economical it is on a run at UK motorway speed, and manual was a must .

Got both, love both. Similar and different at the same time. My ‘23 Mach 1 doesn’t have handling pack so, I got the handling pack for the Dark Horse. Manual transmission for each.

Nothing like being able to rip on your car on an open track. If the Dragy Motorsports performance meter and App are supported in your area you should look at picking one up. Will give you all the performance data you could want/need if you get the opportunity to run at open track events with no timing components.

Hi, it's not a strait bolt up process, you will need to either use rivets or metal wellnuts. If you have access to a ramp it's going to be much easier. Just take time to check everything before drilling. Thanks for watching 👍🏼

Nice video. This Dark Horse is a prebuilt model before orders were officially taken, nearly all those models have the small lip spoiler (model 2024.00) but all other orders which did not get allocated a prebuilt model will have the normal DH Spoiler (not the one from the handling pack, that's only in the US) (model 2024.50)

@@NicoMCH666 Hi, that's good news. Talking to the Ford sales person he said that no other spoilers were available. When I purchased my M1 I could buy the Ford performance rear spoiler direct from the Ford Spain Web site. I'm hoping to get a test drive of the Dark Horse soon so I will check out the options again with him. Thanks for watching 👍🏼

Hi i'm kinda late here but I just found you. I have a 22 mach one none hp i bought x pipe from my dealer thay tried to install it. Said it wont fit . Because it is for a gt . Is there a difference?

Hi George, did the dealer supply the H pipe? If so tell them to return it and order a Steeda. You can email Steeda to confirm the correct part for your car. Other brands should offer the same service. It's not hard to install, it should take a dealership 2 hours max. Thanks for watching 👍🏼

@@jimbinder7472 Hi Jim, I think the digital dash will be how many cars look going forward. Personally I don't like AC / radio controls included in the digital dad, it's to distracting. Also the dash and gloss black get covered in finger prints. My M1 is great, no issues as yet. 👍🏼

@@Taino5.0 Hi, so I contacted a company that specialises in snorkels, Velossa. They did not have one for the Mach 1. But as Ford had done most of the work it just needed to be finished. I had to fabricate two flexible black rubber inserts for the area behind the grille vent to create the snorkel. The inserts were attached with push pins. I do try to show this in the videos I have made, it's not easy to see to take pictures. The finished result looks factory. It just takes time to do this as you have limited access. That Dark Horse is not the Handling Pack; which gives you the better spoiler.

@@Michael-CS Hi, that's correct. The DH handling pack option is unfortunately not available in Europe. So if you did purchase a DH in Europe you would need to purchase all of the handling pack parts and install them, with shipping €7-8k to add so the car would be almost €90k. I'm honestly not sure it's worth that price over a Mach 1 with HP fitted. Thanks for watching 🤙🏼

Awesome video! I have exactly the same car in Spain with also the Steeda H-pipe installed. About the inspection after 3 years, there are some guys who you can pay to get it done without having to swap everything. Where are you in Spain?

Hi, well when Ford removed the resonator they made exact cuts so I could go back to them if needed and have the original resonator installed in 20 mins using the clamps supplied with the H pipe. As you have an active exhaust I would change it to quite mode for the ITV. The resonator is just for sound, not emissions. Im in Estepona, Thanks for watching 👍🏼

@@icemach1964 Awesome, I can swap it back as well! My Ford dealer refused to install it as it was not original. I did use heavy duty clamps, the one that Steeda provides are a bit flimsy. But what I mean to say is that there are places where you pay €50 for the ITV and they don’t even look! Nice I’m based near Barcelona :)

Mach 1 it can be tuned. Run what ever turbo or blower you want Only whipple or roush tuning and blower for the dark horse.

Hi, unfortunately in Europe it appears that Ford will not be offering any official power upgrades. The DH is actually rated at 460HP and no way to officially change that, sad. Thanks for watching 👍🏼

Hi, no problem, my wheels still look like new after 8 months and I have no issues cleaning the brake dust. As a quick clean you can actually vacuum any brake dust off using a soft brush head. Thanks for watching 👍🏼

After driving both and selling Fords for a long time, I went with the Dark Horse. People aren't big fans of the S650, but seeing it in person, driving it and truly experiencing it, I fell in love and had to get one. So I just took delivery of one with the Handling pack. Now, if I had the Mach 1, I don't believe I would get rid of it for the Dark Horse. At least until the day you can tune the new engines, then I think the new 5.0 would really show its colors

Quite happy with my 2022 Mach 1 with the Handling Package and 6 speed, had it out at Canadian Tire Motor Sport Track (Mosport) in Ontario, great fun for a guy at 67 years young.

I actually created my account when I purchased my car and had to find the video package, learn how to use it. I will be making more videos of the car shows and travelling here. My next video in a few weeks is going to be a side by side at Ford with the new Dark Horse that has only just been released in Europe, I'm just waiting for a call from Ford. Regarding the rear wing, it's a genuine Ford Performance product as used on the handling package. I had it painted at Ford to ensure the colour was correct. I just installed headers and got an e85 on my mach 1. You should do that. It REALLY woke the car up. Increased 60 to 130 time by 1.5 seconds

Hi, it would be good to do that but as I live in Spain E85 is not going to be easy to get, I have not seen it offered here to be honest. Also the emissions laws are strict and I don't want an issue with the Ford guarantee so I can't fit hedders. I wish Ford would offer an official tune package for the M1 with ECU and other mods to boost the HP over 500. Thanks for watching 👍🏼

God NO! Keep the Mach 1. You can get her up to 500HP very inexpensively. I went ahead and On3 Twin Turbo’d mine. Went from 500hp to 1105HP. But originally, with minimal upgrades to get to 500hp, it’s a very special car. Keep the Mach Sir!

I sold my Shelby GT350 wasn't using at the time but I'm looking to buy another mustang I'm looking at the Mach 1 because the price has gone down but will be a used one and my shelby i bought used and didn't like much that's why now im more inclined to buy a 650 new i just haven't decided if I'll go for the Dark Horse or get a premium GT and build my own The more you look the 650 the more you will like it even the interior you have to see in person and also upgrades will come in the future don't worry ideal you be to keep the mach 1 and get a 650 maybe just the GT
