Please pull your speakers a few inches forward, you dont want them to be all the way back to breathe. I would recommend keeping music in stereo and not Surround. And 80w is not really that much Power

Great video, Great build, I watched all 44:51 seconds of it. I would only comment on the need for a old towel on your work bench to keep all the metal banging down and scarfing of metal to metal parts. Just me. Love Colts, the OEM2s are great base to finish a build! Amazing rifle really.

Jonathan do you have a repair shop or home based?
@jonathanjovenalАй бұрын
I had my own shop in San Diego, CA from 2017-2023, but I ended up landing a great position as an industrial mechanic. I still work on cars and rebuild these transmissions out of my home garage though.
@paulsibayan9957Ай бұрын
Congrats on the employment. I have a 91 Integra and while it upshifts perfectly from 1st to 5th, it will not downshift into 3rd. Transmission needs to be rebuilt. The car was in San Diego (Eastlake) until I relocated to Southern Utah three years ago. Question: if I find a shop that can/will do the job, how many hours of labor would be needed?
@jonathanjovenalАй бұрын
@@paulsibayan9957 I estimate 5-10 hours for transmission removal and reinstallation into vehicle, and another 5-10 hours for teardown, cleaning, inspection, checking clearances, and rebuilding. Timing depending on the mechanic and how efficient or meticulous their work is. Time wise, I usually take longer since I am very meticulous.
@paulsibayan9957Ай бұрын
Yes, you are meticulous. A trait I inherited from my Pinoy father. He was an aircraft engine mechanic and a pastor. Thanks for the info it will be very helpful someday.

so if the first rubber piece does not get installed right on the countershaft what would happen ? my b18c1 trans was just done at a shop and i had to drop it again out of my car because it was all messed up long story short i have the case apart when i pull the slider down into first gear by hand i can not spin the shafts at all by hand it is bound up that is the only gear that i can not spin by hand i am thinking this shop screwed up the that rubber piece
@jonathanjovenalАй бұрын
That rubber piece on the countershaft will definitely make the gears bind if not installed correctly. It may even jam up and not allow the various components on the countershaft to be seated correctly when torquing down the main nut.
