Cambodia felt very safe, we never had any issues with pickpockets at all. Just be careful in Tuktuks and sticking out your phone/backpack, common sense.. A little bit of brain goes a long way! Thanks for watching 🙏😊

@TristanNguyen-j4p Yes, we did! Incredibly long stretches of land. Travel time is long, sometimes it might be better to fly if you lack time but we enjoyed traveling over land with the sleeper busses 😉

Well the real deal is obviously a lot better. Though each and every restaurant/family has their own way and the taste varies. What we like most is that it is up to you to give taste to the soup by adding your own sweet, sour and spicy + herbs. You are in control of your own dishwater.

@@Looknobook Food in Vietnam is almost free compared to the West. Local food in Thailand is also very cheap but depending on North/South prices can vary a lot. Let's say Vietnam is around 30-40% cheaper.

It’s an 81 meter high Buddha statue . They started the project back in 2015. The amount of work they put into it is crazy. I looked it up and it’s expected to be finished in 2025. So we’re very curious about the final result 😄

How do you rent the tent and how much was it?

We booked the tent on arrival at the entry where you will also need to register all the guests. We paid ฿120 to enter the National Park, ฿20 to enter with our motorcycle and ฿300 to rent the tent, sleeping mat, sleeping bag, pillow etc :) If you have any more questions, we will gladly answer those!

Cambodia - many great things about it! The only thing I couldn't stand was the arrogance of Cambodian people with their English chauvinism, they will approach you and immediately speak English, not even polite enough to ask if you know English yes or no. No humility at all!

Wat Samrong Knong, I was there back in 2015. One of my friend’s father was executed there. Battambang, I was born and raised there when the KR took over. The Khmer people are resilient, mentally strong and Buddhism will guide us forward. I lost 3 people in my family. Thanks for visiting our beloved country.

All over the historic town you can find random street stalls. Most of them are situated next to the water, you'll have to do some walking and spot the good ones out yourself. Follow the smell of smoke and enjoy! 😉
