That for me was the best vlog.. Well done tank & matt on the PB.. Well done to all of you for sitting it out in those conditions.. That's my style of fishing, only not with bite alarms.. I prefer to sit up all night watching the starlights attached to my rod tips.. You'd have massively increased your chances of a double hook up If you'd have cast out a little more regularly 👍🏻

i remember on a Saturday match on the tip side across from where you are. Nigel Spencer caught 68lb of bream on ball and bomb. swing tip god from Bolton. all in at 11am till 4pm. they do feed in the day you just have to find um and normally pre bait. i use to watch Kevin Ashurst catch big roach in the brook that runs out. first frosts you could catch big weights. great vid lads

I’ve fished Scrape a couple of times but not been able to get the bream going. What do you recommend tactics and bait wise?
@lhfishing9123 ай бұрын
@@ianparker2619 nothing special just a simple groundbait not over fed only small amounts like a medium pole pot each time you ship out normal micros and fish corn or paste over the top fishing about an inch overdepth as its a silty bottom
@lhfishing9123 ай бұрын
I often use swim stim green or green supreme groundbait and clearwaters own micros

Ask in your local tackle shop about the best club in your area for matches, some might even have junior matches. Or you could google local angling clubs, most will have a match calendar on their website. Start with club matches, but don't be surprised if you don't do as well in a match as when pleasure fishing. Angling clubs are desperate to encourage young anglers, a club near me has free junior matches and everyone gets a prize

Great video guys. Great fishing to. I love your video’s. But……. i am very sorry, these are not the right rods for this kind of fishing. Whay to heavy for those bream. It seems to me they are made for casting weights about 140 grams.😢
@samuelgarrod83274 ай бұрын
I think they probably know roughly what they're doing tbh.
@scottandrewjohnmiddleton86764 ай бұрын
Are you mad carp rods of 3.5lb tc don't like casting 5oz out at 50m those rods are perfect for that style of fishing
@MiyagiCoarseFishing4 ай бұрын
If you look at the action of the rod when the lads are playing the fish you can see they are progressive action rods and look nice rods for long range bream fishing, The 12ft 110g version would do the job at 50/60 metres, but you need to remember these videos are also used for marketing products.
@TackleguruTV4 ай бұрын
We thought that playing a bream on a carp style rod would be pointless, after all they aren't known for their hard fights. But we appreciate the comment Paul
