I made this. It’s scrumptious. Served it to a group of Aussie and American meat eaters and they loved it. Thank you, Dan.

Sounds delicious! I grew up with canned sardines. But not cooked. My dad would add green chilies, onions, julienned cucumbers and a good squeeze of 🍋. That’s it. Put on top of toast and butter-Banging!!!

Koreans braise canned sardines in either a soy sauce/pepper flake sauce or a kimchi based sauce. Both are salty and flavorful to match the fish's strong flavor and to enjoy with rice.

Started on brandy, then on to whisky, and tequila is my newest adventure. Starting with Santo Fino blanco, i just had my first glass. WOW it's smooth, love the aromas, and the taste is very fruity, almost like a good wine. Well done boys!

My father grew up in Hong Kong and made these for us here in Canada for long car rides. These days I make these for friends when we do road trips! I use seaweed salad, kimchi, garlic pickled cucumbers, corn, char siu, sriracha chicken, mock crab, and long thin strips of spicy marinated smoked tofu!

Must add a couple of anchovies with the olive oil and garlic. I do the same with angel hair pasta. I call it sardine pasta and slice shallots thin. Love sardines

I halved this recipe to give it a try - except for the agave, of which I used only 1/4 cup. That was 1/4 cup too much, imo. And I used an extra-dry bubbly. I put strawberry pieces in the bottom of my squeezable, reusable jelly-shot glasses, and they floated to the top for a beautiful built-in garnish. I'll make these again, sans the agave.
