Going there in August. Trying to decide which of my boots to take . Will have crocks for river crossings and camp but undecided what else .Not my trail runners or B2 or B3 winter mountaineering boots .Looking at the weather my light weight mid ankle boots that I do the most kilometres were I live in the Sierra navada Spain will not be waterproof enough. That leaves my Meindl Bhutans which need replacing.

3:20 is a nice piece of propaganda. "Cultural Genocide against Azeris in Iran," huh? Where the Supreme Leader of the nation is Azeri, where the Azeri language is spoken freely by everyone everywhere, where the Azeri language is taught in public schools and even at the university level, where Azeris have multiple channels on television that broadcast in the Azeri language, where Azeri music and movies can be purchased by anyone at anytime, and where Iranian Azeris living conditions are nearly identical to that of the so-called "oppressive Persians"??...This kid is obviously an idiot who doesn't know what he's taking about because he's brainwashed by his Turkish Nationalist government to resent Iran and Iranian culture. As for you, who did this vlog, I highly recommend you do your research on these topics which you're clearly unfamiliar with before uploading videos like this. At least independently verify such baseless claims like the one this kid made, before you make disparaging comments about Iranians. Are you even aware of the fact that the government of Azerbaijan, for years, has been desecrating Armenian churches that have existed for thousands of years, and which are considered UNESCO World Heritage sites, in order to erase all traces of of Armenian Cultural heritage from Azerbaijan?? Are you also aware of the fact that the government of Azerbaijan has appropriated Iranian Cultural heritage, and completely rewritten history, by claiming exclusive ownership of the famous and legendary PERSIAN poet Nizami Ganjavi, who lived in the territory of modern-day Azerbaijan in 13th century, whose poems not only contributed to the world of Persian literature, but also covered many philosophical problems, technical sciences such as astronomy and chemistry, and built a historical bridge between the history of the ancient world and the period in which he lived, by FALSELY claiming that he was an "Azerbaijani" poet?? Nizami Ganjavi's mausoleum in Ganja, Azerbaijan, has been replaced with analogous poems, but in the Azerbaijani language, in place of the Persian language. While it is true that Ganjavi was born in Ganja, at the time the city was part of the Seljuk Empire. The Republic of Azerbaijan did not even exist until 1918. Furthermore, the term "Azerbaijani" wasn't even coined until sometime after 1918, as Azerbaijan’s were referred to as "Tatars" well into the 20th century, even well after Azerbaijan proclaimed its independence in 1918. There is nothing vague or unclear about Ganjavi's background. It's a well-documented, well-known historical fact that he was PERSIAN, and that he wrote all his works in Persian, and not a bare word in Turkish/Azerbaijani. These are just two examples that only scratch the surface of what's been going on.. Persians and Armenians have been living in what is now Azerbaijan since at least the 6th century BC, and set up empires and civilizations that were rich in culture, and contributed much to the entire world, yet Azerbaijan has Turkified or completely erased all evidence of it to overcome its own shortcomings and insecurities as a nation with no history or culture of its own to boast about. Now, YOU tell ME who is committing the cultural genocide you speak of.

As an azari i advice my Azerbaijani people to not invite strangers to their homes and give them free services because these westerners or any other foreign people you invite to you home and serve them , after they have enjoyed your hospitality and go , they think we people are simpletons and idiots! If you as Azerbaijani go to their cities or villages you will never receive any free service or hospitality! If they come to your country, let them pay for their needs as we pay even for the air we breathe in their country.

Great video! just came back froM Kyrgistan two days ago. What a wonderful trip. Fairly untouched still. I guess it’s kind of hard to share travel experience with family and friends back home when they haven’t been there or seen it with their own eyes, because pictures don’t do the atmosphere nor the moment of being there justice. Don’t mean to sound cocky . Loved the „sauna“ with the hot „shower“ at the yurt camp at tash Rabat. Kel suu was so beautiful , tranquil and vast.
