I love the look of those new Mercedes SUV's! I just can't afford one! LOL. I wish I could. I would buy one of those things in a heartbeat. I am keeping an eye out on the used car market for a good one but many of the ones on the aftermarket have either been wore out by the previous owner, or wrecked and repaired, etc. It's hard to find a really nice one with low miles for a reasonable price as most people keep them for a long time. And unfortunately, most people aren't detailing enthusiasts so they don't keep their vehicles maintained like we all do!

@ it would be interesting to see. There are not a lot of videos on detailing this car and the underside is a lot of panels and aluminum, but also some steel bolts and stuff that goes bad.

The two are similar in both noise and vibrations. Flex may be slight improvement, Griot's has more options and accessories included.

The video is not misleading in any way, it was created and shot at Auto Obsessed with original content, no part of it was content used from any other source. The video is about the custom wax created by Swissvax called OBSSSSD.

Did you happen to ask if the sprayer head chamber is compatible with the older models? Say if I wanted to use the head off my ik multi pro 2 will it work with the bottle? That would be nice if it did so you can swap from foam to sprayer without disassembly.

No sure at this point as the units were prototypes but from what I saw and feel I believe that will be possible. We have to wait and see when the production version is available and what options/changes can be made. The ETA is first quarter of 2025 for release.

I tried Paint Finish today for the first time on green metallic paint. I am blown away by the gloss, and lubrication provided when drying. The car looks like it is freshly waxed. I cannot wait to try this on top of a high quality wax, as I can imagine the results will be even better. For a 8 year old product, I thought it would be topped by the competition by then, and I have tried lots of quick detailers. This sits on top, maybe not in durability or pure slickness after application, but in looks and lubrication on that initial wipe, it is uncontested.

Stunningly beautiful Outstanding color But the wheels are taking away from the appearance in my opinion Try some deep ,old shool slotted dish mags ( wheels) Or even the old school 5 spoke sandblast with polished outer lip Or even the similar "flower" mags from the late 70s Awesomely beautiful car

Love griots products and have used for many years. I did try out there newer ceramic glass cleaner and was very disappointed. I can not get rid of the streaks. Can anyone help me or shed advice on this ? Cheers

Nice but missed a crucial item. USB-C plug in charger, customers are tired of these types of chargers.

With this type of power, charging by USB C will not cut it, this uses a 18 volt battery like a drill and will need a 110volt charger to charge in any reasonable amount of time, in this case the charger has a 2hr charge time which is great.

These are great machines. Much better than the ibrid versions. Been using both for a month now and they are the best polishers I’ve owed. Coming from the Mark 3 and the ibrid versions.

Would be cool if they have a nice hose with it as well, you can place it on your seat and vacuum the carpets and the surrounding areas instead of holding the entire unit, this is gonna come in handy for people living in apartments too

So its just another foam sprayer witha battery , im good with the q2 pro i have , i carry a air compressor in my van so i dont need the battery. I dont see anything that game changing slapping a battery on a sprayer thats been done for a long while now 😂

It is much more convenient that carrying two units around(sprayer & compressor), it is balanced very nicely and will have continuous spraying until the battery runs out. If what you have works then great, if you are looking for a second then this might be a the next option for you.

I absolutely can't wait until I can get my hands on one of the new battery powered IK hand held sprayers! We've been waiting for this for a while now! Thank you IK for bringing one of these to market. There are so many junky battery powered ones on Amazon that break after two uses! This is an incredible introduction for this year. I love SEMA week. The companies introduce so many new detailing products that make our life easier out here. Thank you for posting. I'm excited to get one of these when they are offered for sale. I won't mind spending the extra money for an IK battery hand held foamer/sprayer over a no name brand one. IK is costly compared to other sprayers/foamers, but they are great sprayers. I used to have a bunch of KWAZAR sprayers of all types and sizes but switched to IK and I love my IK bottles and sprayers. They are all top notch and provide years of service, especially if you keep the triggers and inner components cleaned out after use.
