Does Nelson not understand that this video was going to be published on KZbin? Obviously, he thinks this is his personal training session where he can cut-off the instructor whenever he feels like it, despite the fact that the instructor clarifies multiple times that he has an instruction plan that he wants to follow. Some people just don't get it...and likely never will.

This is a very patient instructor. At some point though, you have to just tell your students outright that asking forward-looking, currently irrelevant, out-of-scope questions every few minutes is a distraction to other students...and a waste of everyone's time (and money). Dropping nuanced hints here and there isn't enough for some people...their minds have not been conditioned to consume such subtleties. Nelson, you should have learned this in grade-school. Also, there's this thing called the internet that allows you to find answers to your own questions on your own time (and not on everyone else's)...or take notes and ask questions during the Q&A session.

Thank you so much Vipin Sir. Your videos have always been helpful and informative. I was trying to implement RSAT and was able to run the recorded script successfully. But, On changing the values in the parameter file as mentioned in your demo and saving the same, when I clicked on Run - I observed that the script is getting executed with older values however my parameter Excel file is showing the updated values. Could you please help?

I pulled the "Created date and time" field into my view after creating a product as you describe around the 30 minute mark, but it is blank. I was thinking this field would be auto-populated. Is this not the field to use to show when a product was created? Great instruction btw.

CreatedDateTime is automatically populated by the system when a record is inserted, assuming the property is enabled on the table. Out of the box, not all tables have CreatedDateTime, CreatedBy, ModifiedDateTime, and ModifiedBy enabled, so the tables don't have those fields. A developer can turn on the property/properties and then the system will add that field or fields. I don't have access right now to see if the ProdTable has CreatedDateTime property enabled out of the box. PS: I am no 100% sure how exactly you created your view or in what product. I ran across a case where an earlier X++ developer tried to use the CreatedDateTime value on a table that did not have that field: no compile-time error occurred and no runtime error occurred. However, it was a logical error because the results were wrong - records that should not have been in the results were.

As there is no description field available in line item in sales order. after completing the sale order. if we go to sales order invoice ->Voucher-> we have description field there in voucher transaction. Please let me know from where we can enter the description in sales order.

Hi, in AX 2012 we report as finished by using View -> Journals - Report as finished - Create new button. This button creates a new journal and goes to lines automatically. I don't see this button in D365. Is there a way to enable it?
