It’s all an infringement farce! Nobody should buy anymore NFA items until they just get rid of the NFA! Let the business lobby deal with it when people start refusing to buy their stuff as long as the hoops are up! Not just on silencers but short barrels or automatic also. Why should a civilian have to pay 20k plus for an automatic just because it’s from the small supply of pre 1986 weapons available? It’s not exactly illegal to own the automatic but it sure as hell is an undue burden in order to buy one when you should otherwise be able to buy more modern automatics for maybe $5000 or less!

Everything has a Muffler on it but build one for your gun and you can go to prison ??? With all the Hearing Problems resulting from non use !!! They must have Stock in Hearing Aids !!!

this hearing protection should be common and legal in all 50 states. cash n carry same hour. no back ground or tax other than sales tax. as they do not promote crime. they protect people's hearing.

I took delivery of two suppressors in the past 30 days. One took one business, and the other took three business days. The three day wait was during the week of the election, which may have had something to do with it. Both were eforms through Silencer Shop.

It is now 11-12-24, over 1 YEAR since I bought my suppressors from Silencer Central in Oct 2023. I already have 3 suppressors I bought 10 years ago, it should be an easy deal. The ATF accepted my trust paperwork Nov 28 2023 last year and I have contacted them multiply times about why no approval. They last told me in Oct that they are taking 12 to 14 months to approve. Somebody is lying.

Six months waiting so far with Trust

Just went back and looked at my form 4 and seen there is no ss number on the submitted paperwork. How is this possible when i entered my ss number at every step as advised by the shop worker. Should I expect to wait 3 months now i noticed 2h says it can delay the process 🤬

I see the American Suppressor Association (ASA) working hard to help suppressor sellers move more product and accelerate doing so by keeping the pressure on the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (BATF) to shorten wait times. I don't see the ASA doing anything to facilitate better consumer decision making by encouraging uniform testing standards (e.g. decibel reduction at given sound frequencies, back pressure amounts, etc., etc.) which would provide better information. Many of us voluntarily contribute to ASA with each suppressor purchase. Am I missing something and am I being fair?

Silencer shop trust I’m 54 days in bought a pistol the other day and was immediately approved so why am I still waiting for the crowns permission 🤔🤔🤔
