Hello Tom. We live in Los Angeles….not as handy and creative as you are and lived your video. Any chance you sell some of your creations?

Your mortar/concrete mixture could be put in a heavy duty plastic bag (ziploc freezer bag), snip off one of the bottom corners and treat it like frosting in a pastry bag.

How did the plug get out of the fountain? Is the hole you drilled large enough for that?
@doityourselferhomeandgarde97322 күн бұрын
The small plug fit through the original casted hole of that pot.

Great bird bath! I’m getting ready to build similar but really want to put some sort of filter inside the build. Any thoughts or links?
@doityourselferhomeandgarde97322 күн бұрын
Cleanout instructions in the video's description, following that procedure doesn't require a filter.

So mosquito larvae doesn't hatch in all that water since it's constantly moving?
@doityourselferhomeandgarde973219 күн бұрын
Mosquitos do not lay eggs in constantly (24/7) flowing, clean water.

You have to plug that in though, correct, so you have to have some sort of electrical source?

i like it that you show the birds actually using it. so many videos talk about the bird bath building aspect and then ends when putting it together is all done.

It's lovely. But I have cats so I am looking for ideas on a suspended bird bath so the birds are high enough and safe.

Exactly what I’ve been looking for! The heat in Georgia causes the water to evaporate from my bird baths within hours. This has a nice big supply of water. I’ve also been looking for gentle bubbling water for my hummingbirds. I have a lot of hummingbirds that visit. I think they would be much more attracted to this fountain that my other two. I bet this fountain would be for expensive if it were purchased readymade. This seems more affordable. Thank you!!!
