They are Americans and have US citizenship, but have limitations on their rights while living in Puerto Rico. For instance, they can’t vote in US presidential elections. But if they moved to the mainland they would have all the same privileges. Even though they have citizenship, many Puerto Ricans don’t consider themselves Americans.

The worst things about these Airbnb are that we are losing our privacy. They come next to your house (a residence area) to point their cameras into your property with audio features that even record all your conversations even inside your home if the properties are close, record them into a DVR and a cloud where anyone with knowledge can hack. And people in Puerto Rico don't even know that this is illegal so they do nothing about it and we are losing our privacy in our own homes. So, everybody should know that in Puerto Rico this is a violation of your privacy rights even protected by the Constitution. These cameras can record conversations up to 90 feet distance or more, so you cannot even talk in your own neighborhood. The guests are also being audio recorded because if you are in a wooden house these cameras record the inside audio and everything you talk during your stay is being recorded. They say they put cameras to protect their property, but lets get real. The Police will not come to your help as fast as you expect: thieves can still cover their faces and rob them anyways: piss off neighbors will see or hear nothing when they rob them. Frankly, Hotel rooms are more private and safe.

And as a Puerto Rican. I hate the word "Gringo". I think it is too derogatory to use. Given that my dad is American/White. Yeah i hate the word because it literally disrespects me in a way because im white.

the previous government run power company neglected the power grid, stole the money, and prolonged simple jobs as long as possible in order to get the corrupt union workers as much over time as possible. the plan was to have a grid that always needed constant repairs and never get new equipment. The grid in PR was always sub standard and decaying and purposely so. Now they have a new private power company trying to fix literally decades of neglect and sabotage, and the people are acting like its all the new power company's ( LUMA ) fault.

More Puerto Ricans own Airbnb and Rentals near the beach in san juan and thats a fact. Foreigners have a hard time purchasing anything because Puerto edo not like to sell to foreigners. So the problem isnt caused by foreigners its actually caused by Puerto Rican property owners

puerto rican women from poor areas in the USA are not suitable to date. They're low class, and okay with settling for less in relationships. Often times, their partners, and the fathers of their children, are involved in criminal activity. I never met one who wasn't on public housing, either. They are sexy af tho. I just wish they were more open minded, intelligent, and had better values. The first thing they should learn is that it's okay to have a child after the age of fifteen.
