This is their greatest live version ever (OK, maybe 1990 was better)... I just realised that the bass patch is the same as the one from Computerworld from Minimum Maximum... did you use Diva to recreate it?

Its funny that Andrew will never do a cover of the mix robots because apparently it will sound identical to the original

Absolutely incredible! Are you using the original SC-02 or an emulation?
@AndrewShawMusik4 ай бұрын
An original SC-02! I bought one almost ten years ago, but couldn't work out how to use it. Thankfully Polaxis recreated the Robovox unit as per Florian's design - www.polaxis.be/product/robovox/ It's a really fun little unit. I've been meaning to say I'm really impressed with your recreation of the bass sequence from The Robots. I could never recreate it as good as you did!

@@AndrewShawMusik Thanks Andrew!!! Both for the compliments and for the explanation. I also bought an SC-02 years ago but could never get my head around it, so I just ordered the last unit on Polaxis haha! Hope to use it soon to annoy the neighborhood =D So, next challenge might be a full recreation of The Robots, and that snare drum will be another five years of research...

@@simonemghilardi Haha! Well if you need any tips on it, just reach out! I may be able to help you out with the snare from The Robots. Drop me an email - [email protected]
