2 things can affect your track delay, plugins & asio. i'm assuming you use a usb microphone & not an xlr mic. usb mic's have a massive delay due to the signal being routed through usb and not xlr, this can change your imput delay from 60 ms to 6 ms, what i'd say do is either save up for a condenser mic & a interface and just use it that way, what you can do for now though is either deal with the delay, remove some of your third party plugins or record with no monitoring.

​@@CSKL-h7c nah i do use a xlr mic n got it hooked up to my focusrite solo and its not my plugins that are causing the delay since its delayed even without them. its a weird issue i js recently started having. might js fix itself after a reset my pc since i was going to anyways🤷‍♂

if u are using FL studio asio, turn down the buffer length in audio settings. might help bro.

next to the (none) button where u click insert 1, click on the little clock icon n click (adjust position of recorded audio)

No the detune in autokey is not always correct, even the keys it shows will be inaccurate - try out bx_crispyscale way more accurate imo

pretty sure if you record on your preset all the effects are burned onto the audio file that goes in the arrangement, so you can't adjust any effects afterwards.

@@beangong it all depends on what u decide to record. u can record the dry audio while still using your own vocal chain, or u can decide to burn the fx into it. using a preset from someone else makes no difference

the reason you don’t wanna record with all effects is because you can’t tweak any of the effects after, so imagine you record a full song with effects on automatically but then you realize your compression was off a little, you would have to completely re-record. so with the recording preset, we wanna use effects that are simple and don’t have the ability to “mess up” the vocal in any way.
