how tf did we get to the point where musicans have to use trickery to get views/impressions for their music? there used to an abundance of dj's and outlets that would break cool new artists and music to their audiences by having a human decide what to expose and what not to, it kept a lot of the shit music where it rightfully should've been with an algorithm deciding who gets impressions and who doesn't--there is absolutely no filter on quality totally surrendering music to tech companies was probably the worst thing to happen to music
