Every example is shown slow. Would like to see just one done with any kind of pace, and then compared to the same without the artificial rise (cause despite all the talk of a natural wave this sine wave rise is exaggerated). I have yet to see one demonstration where the performer doesn't appear materially slower, and more vulnerable to sweeps and pushes or throws due to the extended period in raised posture

You argue against dropping too much, then proceed to demonstrate dropping beyond relax point to an increased tension point. Relax point would drop you and couple of inches at most

Taekwon! If it is to block a punch or kick I imagine that would be to the centreline....but it looks like it's more chest or even shoulder line? Please can you Sir....someone clarify this point. Thank you!

I was with ITF for years and got to first dan black belt. But i left after it. I felt like it was just a money making scam. Taking way too long to get to black belt. Plus you would learn your patterns but never use those skills in fighting. As the sparring gear goes on and you're expected to start fighting like your a kickboxer and all those skills just go out the window. They have something called 1,2 and 3 step sparring where you would use the skills. But this was only done for gradings. The rest of the time it was like kickboxing. And you would notice people not able to use their skills effectively as it was never really used. Plus it was always loads of money for this and that. You would pay to go to seminars and be taught the exact same stuff you would in class but at an extortion price. So i joined a karate class and noticed i was learning three patterns per belt. With far more advanced movements than TKD
