I haven’t been able to find these for sale. Interesting that they can be posed…small weapons look to be trick to assemble. Great Review. Maybe you’ll be make more videos again? They are enjoyable and well done!

I used to work at Matchbox in Rochford Essex. I can tell you all that some of the moulds were sold to Revell. As for the big American 1/25 trucks, I can't remember where they went.

Mr Hayes I'm so sorry you're not doing more of your videos. I enjoy them greatly and look forward to seeing the interesting things you do, the kit bashing, conversions and the comparisons of kits and sizes. I hope you resume making videos when you get the chance. It a fine body of work and I like to revisit them. I hope you and your son are well and happy. Best wishes to you.

Hasegawa did in 1/72 a lot of tanks and ACs that Airfix didn't. Pity that it wasn't very well spread, at least 'til early '80s.

Back in the day 1970s and later I had many 1/72 scale it was less costly as they are still now. My preferred scale is 1/32 and bigger. Those marines rereleased by the looks the earlier ones were much different. The details we're rather glazed no sharpness but they represented the marines with pants right down to the ankles. No tuck in boots. The ones in this video is a cross of the US Infantry Airfix set and with exception of some new poses. I'm wondering how did you customise that kind of plastic? Glue doesn't work. Do these come in 1/32 scale? The flash issue is a real pain. I've tried with a razer sharp knife but still no good. My other choice for cleaning is a heated needle. But not easy with 1/72 scale. Can easily clear away details also trying to clear the flash. The art on the box is same as the Airfix 1/32 scale multi pose model figures except the red box.👍🇭🇲🦘🐨✌️

Hi. This is actually not a bad kit of a 'Easy Eight '. I built mine based on a photograph of a 3rd army Sherman with sand bag frames on the sides of the hull and turret. When Gen Patton took over the 3rd army he told his men to remove the sandbags as the extra weight was slowing down his tanks. The crews were not happy as they felt that it now made them more vunerable. Which is why his men coined the phrase "our guts his glory ". But this a good old kit.

The US Marines set was even worse . They looked half melted , like that set does . All in all , pretty bad quality . Then other sets are fantastic .

This kit was OOP for years. A friend of mine tracked one down in Australia, but he gladly paid the expense because the common knowledge of the day was that the mould was broken and the kit would never be produced again. Only a few weeks later did Revell announce they were reissuing the kit ...

De très bonne figurines il n'y en a pas beaucoup mais au moins les posent sont différentes,il y a 2 grappes identique dans la boîte c'est dommage sa aurait été plus judicieux de faire une grappe avec les mêmes armes mais avec des posent différentes

My Ex wife used to work for Matchbox in Essex in the 1970's. And would score staff discount for these Models for me. I just wish, I had keep them until today. With the Diorama the Kits were just so well made. And today would be worth a few Quid too..!!😢 Good review..! Cheers all. 😎

The mule is curious as I’m not aware they were utilised by Australian forces in the SW Pacific. Perhaps the artist imagined a campaign such as the Chindits. Australian military folklore does lionise a donkey though from the WW1 Gallipoli debacle.

I like the heft of plastic in these kits, maybe not the best detail but I think nice and fun/easy to build. I agree that these kits do seem a bit large in the 1/72 scale compared to others. The same is true of the Tiger I kit. Really enjoying you older videos and wishing you well from the West Coast of USA (So Cal). Kind Regards, Pat

Enjoying your older videos. Nice job on these Winter German Falls, I like the heavy winter equip and you did a good job painting/detailing. The antenna/Arial looks great…. I haven’t run into this brand locally but I will buy them if I can find them. New Sub for you here. Pat

I really hope all the model kit manufacturers standardised the scale instead of coming up with multiple scale.

I got the UK version, same fort but buffalo, dukw, and the same two landing craft (may have been other bits but cannot recall). Hope the lad had fun with it and hope you and yours weathered the plague and are are doing okay. The Waterloo set is handy for WW2 as well, I baulk at painting Napolionics but the farm is useful, the extra civie wagons are handy for populating farm yards and the French Artillery has six horses that are just plodding along rather than galloping wildly, along with six small and six large spoked wheels to make more carts with.

Very nice and simple Kits, surprisingly some nice details. Good paintjob, but there is a little mistake on the painting guide . Those wheels on the tracked section had rubberrings around that should be painted black. These rings where slightly larger than on the boxart shown. .
