I have same problem with my 2017 Murano. How much for genuine Parts (both side struts) cost?

This was helpful to see but it wasn’t a comprehensive how-to. I appreciate it just the same because I can see it is a very doable project. Thanks!

Nice, but I really dislike "daylight" vs a softer light for the kitchen... I uninstalled something similar because the light was too harsh for the indoors

Seems like it would’ve been a perfect application for concrete
@cherrypoutines626921 күн бұрын
how is it holding up? did you find out why the soil underneath was eroding?
@WingingItDIY3 күн бұрын
There ended up being a bigger issue with soil under the large concrete pad that kept eroding away. I would use the aquaphalt again for sure, that stuff is rock solid. If it wasn’t for the bigger problem the aquaphalt would have been a great solution for the long term.
@cherrypoutines62693 күн бұрын
@WingingItDIY so how did you fix the soil erosion? water diversion + replace the missing soil?
@WingingItDIY2 күн бұрын
@@cherrypoutines6269 Hired a local concrete company to pour a concrete slurry, basically a super watery mix, down into the sink hole until it filled it completely. Then asphalted on top of that.

That might’ve worked for now, but that is not how you solder. That was a cold joint. You have to heat the wire component to the point that the solder melts.

What if i put concrete?
@-ouv3 ай бұрын
Could do that for sure, but I think this kind is designed to be tight in grass/dirt. I would probably do concrete, because I'm in Michigan, too many different seasons and temps up here

Thank you! Your video saved me $520. The dealer gave me a quote of $220 just for parts. My dad's and I changed the struts for a total of $30 and about 10 minutes. Getting the struts to turn and align for placement on the hood was the hardest part. Thanks again

2 tee handle clamps $6.00...works great. Keep one in garage and one in console. Tighten it on metal part of the arm.

Definitely helped my assembly, but the smaller screws provided are complete garbage. They are way too soft and prone to stripping when trying to get some of the pre-drilled sections tightened.

Your video was great....you made it look easy...I followed them to the tee and they went together with ease.. My neighbor has had these chairs for 5 years outside year round in the snow, hot sun and rain. Not even slight wear or fading... Sold me... I would recommend these chairs, tables, and ottomans to anyone... Thanks for making it easy to assemble...

Not recommended!! Mine was very wobbly and unstable. Cheap bolts, not grade 8. I changed all mine out because I didn't trust the ones that came with it. Like I said, it is very wobbly and unstable. Keep in mind I have a 4 inch square pole, which you would think would be the most stable. Might be ok for little kids but not for any serious play.
