Great book. One of Graham Mastertonß best books. The book just gets crazier and crazier as it rolls along.

I did indeed read this novel. I remember the main antagonist being too perfect. I thought it was bad but readable. I do actually want to read his other novel out of curiosity, but it's often hard to find and expensive.

Thank you for reviewing this book. I was born in 84. My mom read it in 86. My mom was very oddly superstition and mentioned the title a lot, but never the plot. I finally decided to look into it and found out the looney chick who terrorized me about satanism and demonology named my little sister after the books villain. Lol

I found an original autographed copy of The Manse by Lisa Cantrell (also featuring a demonic pumpkin on the cover) at a used bookstore with an newspaper cutout of a Cantrell interview/career profile that somebody left inside the book! Very cool find, cannot wait to read it.
