I read this in 89, when I was 14!! Took me forever to remember the name, I've never forgotten the story! Just wish I could find the audiobook!!

I read the ebook version of this on an illegal site in 2011 by accident, and that was the type of accident i wish would happen to me often. The book is a gem! I loved it!

I read this book as a kid and have been searching for good synopsis. This was brilliant, thankyou!

Great book. One of Graham Mastertonß best books. The book just gets crazier and crazier as it rolls along.

This book is a must for any horror fan. Also Walkers, and Prey, The Pariah, Picture of Evil . I've loved his stuff for years! Great review!

The Pariah seems really cool too.

Great review! I have this but haven't gotten around to reading it yet. I love Masterton. He is one of my favourite authors. Feast is one of my favourites and The Night Warriors and Death Dream. He has written so many great books. Hope you have a fantastic Christmas!

love Graham Masterton read many of his books and loved all of them...find them so cinematic. Masterton researches a lot for his books to make it as authentic as possible.

This is one of the most fun Masterton novels. It wven has a decent ending. PS: A great fan of Masterton, seek Black Angel, Trauma, Tengu, Parriah and Charnel House.

@@PaperbackMania I know. Met his 2 years ago in a convention. Great guy, very cool, gave us a writer's guide on hitting on women. I have read 19 of his books (most of which translated and some I unhauled), so it is hard to do a video. But I am tempted to do a Masteron overview/how to read at some point. After the 90's he started writing crime. I have read one of those, Scarlet widow, which was fun.

Charnel House is my all time fav!!! Tengu.....is amazing with a very bleak ending.

I'll have to check this one out. I got Night Warriors on my wish list and I'll add Mirror to it and I'm hoping both these novels will be a lot better than Feast and The Hell Candidate. Those two novels had great ideas just won't well written.
@PaperbackMania5 жыл бұрын
That’s interesting. I’ve heard good things about both Feast and The Hell Candidate. Haven’t gotten to either yet.
@leejones50265 жыл бұрын
Don't bother with those two. The ending of The Hell Candidate pissed me off and Feast just got weird and didn't like it.

I hated the scene where Martin's agent blinded and deafened himself. Do you guys know what I'm talking about?

Oof yeah that scene was brutal. Worse than any “death scene” I recall reading in a while.

@@PaperbackMania I didn't understand what Miss Redd was supposed to be. Was she kinda like Gary Seven's Isis (ST: Assignment: Earth)? You know, sometimes a woman, sometimes a cat? Hope u get back w/me on that, 'cause I'm eaten up w/curiosity.
@PaperbackMania5 жыл бұрын
paul robison I saw her as being similar to the nanny from The Omen, or a familiar spirit sent from Hell to make sure Boofuls’s plan came to fruition.
