Should MotoGP be relegated to the History channel if it no longer has a viable future?

To me, the GP should focus on the best riders. That’s right, I said best riders. Rider excellence is what makes MotoGP a compelling view. All the riders should be on the same bike. I don't care if they use street bikes or WSB spec. The sport is getting lost in process regarding manufactures and tire companies. I want to see the best riders. Hint so do the advertisers and real sport fans. Until the sport understands the above it will always be a afterthought sport news reporting (aka free advertising support).

Simon, it's typical sicuak nedua. Don't let any negative comments effect yyou mentally. You were selected by peoplee who knows their jobs, and not not by amateurs that that doesnt know what they are talking about. Good luck and I wish you all the best in you new venture

To me and I'm sure many millions, you pair were motorcycle racing's commentary royalty, late 1980's all the way through the 90's was the golden age of the sport for me . Keith, you could make half a dozen O.A.P's riding round an oval on mopeds sound like it was the final lap of a of a WSB race! and with Julian's input of Tech, and statistics it was just a magical combination. Sadly I'm afraid I find it all a bit boring these days.

My tuppence worth as an ex rider.. we need to avoid going down the boring F1 path, of letting it become an Engineering exercise 😮 more actual Racing and much Less analysis and talking, only 3 races in a day is a joke. Much less penalties, to warch a race then have the results changed because a guy was 15cm over a line 😢 Lets have jumps etc, like the IiOM. Get rid of aero and rider 'aids' if you cant ride, do something else 😮 I now watch a race were they do about 35 mph & far more interesting 😳 My subs will not be renewed 😮

I never raced I don't have skills or desire to do so. But am obsessed with. Motorcycles. Love cars. Push bikes. Read read books from young age 12 read about sir Malcolm and exploits land speed Jeff duke John suftees I liked him. Liked duke never meet them like Barry shenne. Loved Freddie Spencer my hero Wayne grader . Am a kiwi. And have no idea why. My dad rode bikes. My 14yr son loves cars he can't stand electric cars. My latest thoughts get quad bike even. Though don't like them or a sidecar. Lol watch this and mentions sidecar I thought of John sutrees with wining with honda f1 but don't think honda won in f1 title only as engine suppler. Not a chassis. Maker.

That was excellent! Murray Walker is a legend. Priceless knowledge and insight of amazing characters. Very apt timing mentioning knighthoods. Typical British establishment not honouring the great ones, and rewarding incompetent (London Mayor). Some things never change and are as relevant today as they were 50/60 years ago. Thank-you very much 👍

Murray Walker and James Hunt were the best win double of motorsport commentary. As a teenager back in the late 70s who was just getting into F1, Murray's enthusiasm and schoolboy excitement got me hooked pretty quick. Hunt complemented him perfectly although I've heard stories since that they bashed heads on a number of occasions. Both very sorely missed these days.

Great vid, as usual. What a legend, to be that sharp in his nineties is amazing. You should get Fred Clark on, another legend of the sport but only for those who went to the races. Bet he's got some stories to tell. Keep up the good work guys. Happy Christmas

Remember Randy flipping his Cagiva on the warm up lap at Assen! He got it back to the Grid but the bike was a bit banged up! Mechanics doing there best to get it race worthy, Eddie, Wayne and all of the top other riders seen this and did there up most to pre long the start of the race so Randy had a chance, thats what you call racing mates. Those days were and still are the best for me. I take my kids to Assen every year, but I always rant on about the good old days, long live 2 strokes 😊
