Hi, Im a Malaysian chinese here. Thats very true. Usually, chinese peoples we are prefer chinese cuisines i guess coz its our DNA. Isnt like we dont support malay restaurant or business. Cos chinese are very selective for foods unless we know that restaurants serve a good quality foods then we will go there. She is right.. If you see the malay restaurant and many chinese patrons which mean that restaurant must be a gem restaurant. Same thing apply to chinese restaurant too. Like myself, i love malay foods too cos their flavour and taste so much different compare to chinese. especially the malay Chicken rendang, ayam masak merah, Nasi Kelabu in Kelantan , asam pedas and more. Usually, you can spot many chinese peoples love to support street vendors selling Nasi lemak and Nasi campur. As long as the food is good surely you can see chinese or Indian there. The best things living in Malaysia with multi cultures we have such an amazing peoples and races and ever individually race have their own gems cuisine. I hope you will slowly explore and get to know the beauty of Malaysia ❤ Also, do not forget to try Malaysian Indian cuisine too such banana leaf rice. If anyone here knowing some authentic and best indian restaurants pls share with them ❤️ Welcome to Malaysia !!

This is interesting. Korean family having a great time living in Malaysia. I love Penang too. But I used to be living in KL but now migrated to Australia. My heart is still with Malaysia. You guys make me miss Malaysia even more watching your video. Thanks for sharing.

The portion Kak Ayu served you all (including the mussels, chicken and egg) can serve your whole family, meaning your parents when they come to visit from SK. What you ate this time is good for 3 adults. Hope to see your parents try out this Malay food, too.

제가 한달 살이하러 KL에 있었을때 진짜 한달내내 치킨을 먹었거든요 ㅋㅋㅋ 한국와서 몇달을 치킨을 안 먹었어요 ㅋㅋㅋ 페낭은 음식도 다양하고, 재료도 더 다양한 것 같아요. 그리고 화면이 교차편집이 되면서 두분이서 이야기하는 장면만 고정된게 아니라 사이사이 음식이 나오니까 더 집중이 잘 되고 흥미로워요!

18:26 Makcik cakap terus terang sahaja 😅, betul juga tu, kecuali Nasi Lemak, biasa orang Cina tak makan makanan Melayu dan lebih cenderung makan di gerai dan restoran mereka sendiri, jadi mesti restoran Melayu tu luar biasa kalau ada orang Cina yang makan di situ.

Wow 5 stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 That chicken sauce is popular Malay dish called "percik"= coconut milk gravy. If you like cabbage next time at Malay restaurant just order "sayur kobis"(cabbages) 👌

The chicken dish called Ayam Percik, its Kelantan food, very famous especially during Ramadhan i can eat a whole month of Ramadhan 😂😋 because i'm from Kelantan 😁

seems like very good quality food, but the price looks like it is slightly on the higher side for average malaysian. but usually for places like this better order the from the set menu as it seems better value there with fixed price. the set meal looks like a great value.
