I'm going to need to replace my 06 Tundra with 220k miles on it here in the near future. However these new Toyota trucks are garbage with a big sticker price I am seriously looking at other options at this point. I am very disappointed with Toyota.

After hearing your shudder in this video, I'm hoping that cause of my bad vibes isn't TC shudder, but something less worrisome, because what I hear in your video isn't the same as my bad vibes. I'm 6 days from installing brand new Falken Wildpeak AT3 275/70r17 (currently on AT3 in 265) , and less than 30 days from installing the Eibach stage 2R kit, ECGS needle bearing. If I still have bad vibes, I will replace the carrier bearing or likely the entire driveshaft assembly with one directly from Toyota.

It was easier for me to use a 14 mm socket to unbolt both front seats so that I could tilt them to work on the straps under the seats.

Toyota is trying to rid themselves of older Toyota buyers.😦 I’ve owned Tundras,Siennas and Venza. They now are pretty much Turbo,Hybrid and smaller engine displacements which I am removing myself from buying any New Toyotas. Keeping my 2015 Venza XLE AWD V6 and my 2016 Tundra Limited 4WD V8 with no worries of recalls and being stranded along the road somewhere. Breakdowns have always been the least of my worries or cost of repairs .🤔👍

Had a 1980 longbox 4WD with the original 20r , a 1982 shortbox 4x4 and a 1983 shortbox 4x4 with the 22r , All were basic no frills trucks , almost affordable back then too , had manual locking hubs and solid front axle, loved them ! Now TOYOTA are so high tech and complicated I wouldn’t touch one with a 40 foot flagpole

I was really excited for the new generation Toyotas. I still am. But yeah the only thing I don't like about any of them, IS the price. I think they have a lot of capability, potential, and once all the kinks are worked out and fixed, they will be better and more reliable vehicles. Toyota DOES need you take a hard turn with the pricing, and perhaps, move their plants back to the states, or, like the 4Runners, move their plants to Japan and go back to the reliable tried and true QA before the downfall. I love the way the new Toyotas look, and yes I also wish they kept a V8 and V6 option for the Tundra, Tacoma, 4runner, Sequoia, and Landcruiser. I have the 2020 Tundra and I'll never trade or sell that, because I love the V8. It's a gas guzzler, and gas prices in California are skyrocket high and I can't afford that gas, so I'm looking at a new daily driver.

Agree with everything you said. Even with GM's luxury truck line up, the top of the line off road capable GMC Canyon AT4X starts at 55k. That's 10k less than the TRD Pro.
