Love the feature on the Sat Nav, really cool and smart. the small foot wash by the pool took me back a few years, although its good to see there was no corn plaster floating in there 😂 brownie points for the Only Fools references too. It was a great series and great to have you back 😀 xx

Thank you 🥰 it was a lovely trip and yes the pool was a pleasant surprise, when we checked in the family pool was really busy so were unsure if we would swim but then found the adult only one on the map and it was great 😃 still went for a swim in the other one too once it had quietened down a bit as it looked fab with a lazy river 😂👍

Nice one guys. Fantastic trip. Looked like you had the weather at the end there that we had going the other way. We’re definitely doing the Black Forest for a few nights on the way to Austria next year. That's a really great question 😊👍 We were going to take her this time but it seems to be a long process although the main reason is the heat, she doesn't like hot weather 🌡️ so perhaps an autumn or spring tour we could take her with us 🥰 Enjoy your trip it sounds fab! Thanks Gary, should be released this Friday, quite a big difference to last year's trip in France 😁👍 The screen on the door was already fitted on the van, it's standard on the Adventure model from Auto-Trail but think it is an option on other models

Thanks guys for all the new videos and ideas for trips and places to stay. In this last video I noticed what looks like a cable lock on the front wheel of your van. Do you mind letting me know what it is and if good, where to get one? Thanks.

Great spot! Very impressed 🥰 It's actually a really old simple cable lock (combination type), it's really lightweight and would probably not take much to break but it's one of the "hidden" security devices we have on the van. We have the usual security like Trackers, steering lock, etc. but also have some home made devices that will hopefully deter any would-be thieves 😁 👍 In this case the BBQ is cable locked to the wheel which would make a racket if anyone tried to pinch it 😂

I have a question- we have a motor home with a Xzent unit, I see you have one , do you have the app on your phone or map card in the unit. As we live in France, how do you find it works in Europe? Thank you, glad you enjoyed the trip, we absolutely loved Germany 🥰 Our Xzent has the maps on an SD card, it's an older model but still works fine. We did update both the software and maps though when we bought the van, the software update made a significant difference to how the unit functions and the speed especially. It works okay in the UK, we like it as campervan specific so has our height and maps accordingly. In Europe it's really good, especially in France (we used it extensively last year) and Germany which is the home market. We had Google maps running too and in Germany the unit was better than Google which got lost / confused a couple of times but the head unit was spot on 😁👍 Some people really don't like them but we found it great, especially after updating the software 👍
