Very cool car. Did you ever drive it? If so how was it compared to the optima? Im very interested in these old knockoffs

Awesome to see the variety. I only just recently got my first which is a 9e. Looking forward to getting it out though.

I can put a Tamiya together in my sleep. Kyoshos, same. I just got done with my Pro Cat, thank god it went together amd and works smooth, cause holy hell, taking it apart again is just something i never want to do hahaha That being said, I wish i had got the pro transmission before hand. Mine also came with a missing grub screw for the lower sway bar link. Probably never buy another Schumacher again tbh. I got one, im good lol

Very Nice Collection Wade! I always remember the Kyosho Inferno as “the nitro car” of my childhood. It looked so majestic with the smoke and smell on the track. The miniZ Inferno is still on my wish list today, they are expensive but are true hobbygrade 1/24.

Very cool! One of every size! The nitro buggies are a lot of fun but a lot of extra work as well. Nothing beats hearing them run around though! Electric may have caught up to the power and speed of them but will never have the brap!

Cool to see another Sinyih Laser, i have been searching for a body for mine for years, since the original is long gone but might have to slap an ultima body on it instead.
@BriansRCStuffАй бұрын
You big tease! First you are gone for what seems like forever and then you tell us what we can't see behind the camera! I hope things settle down for you soon. That RC10 is great! That body on that Optima is great. I would say it is too nice for running on any of my cars! He didn't happen to send you a Losi LXT body too? 😂

Great to see you back! Thanks for sharing another interesting car, it’s probably too good to be considered a knock-off. Chris’s painted Optima bodies look so good, I wish I have half his skills. : )

@AddamsPlayground2 ай бұрын
Really nice bodies for the Optima and a really nice find in the RC10. Not too often you see them in done stock form, they have usually been tinkered with 3 or 4 times over at least! The Laser buggy is a really cool find as well. I never saw one of those before and it looks pretty sweet! The bendo-stretcho body is kind of crazy though, I have never seen one curl up so badly. Maybe if you pin it down to a flat surface and slowly warm it up with the heat gun and then let it cool pinned flat it may help. Like you said it should still sit fine on the chassis, may need to velcro it to the chassis tub to keep it in place. Looking forward to see this one built. Take care and try to stay cool!

Interesting Buggy there Wade and a very nice job you have done. Is the steering bar on the servo original? That would have been a difficult bar to bend, almost makes you think there must have been an alternative. - keep up the good builds there mate

Hey that’s funny you noticed that curved servo link - it was much straighter out of the box only it was too long, I put that curve in there myself and nearly shit my pants doing it 😂

Is this a german brand? If this was a Japanese. Brand I'd want a box art.
@techspeedrc3 ай бұрын
It's Italian. SG, TAG, OPS are all brands that are owned by Mantua Model in Italy, rebadged as the Robbe Geronimo and sold all over Europe. Mantua Model still lists all the spares they still have on their website, so it can be easier to run one of their old cars than some of the bigger brands.

@@techspeedrc so you can get parts for it still?
@wadeskelton75853 ай бұрын
Yeah it can be a little hard to sort out what make/brand kit you have with some of these guys - I had spent several years searching EBay for the Robbe Geronimo & had no idea the Tag Jet was the same car until not too long ago

@wadeskelton7585 If you can still get parts for it, they still should make the carespecially when. Vintage stuff. Is hot right now they could make money on them.

Cool buggy Wade! I am not familiar with these at all so it is pretty cool to see them up close and how they designed it. That bottom definitely has some snag points on it! LOL! I guess countersinking them was not something they thought of or wanted to do! Thanks for sharing it and going over how the build was. I cannot imagine trying to paint the box art pint scheme! that looks like it is a pro-level task, not one I would try and tackle. Maybe straight lines of colors could be doable but those squares are intimidating for sure! Looking forward to see it out for a light run! Take care and have a great weekend!!

What an awesome addition to your classic collection and indeed it is the only Tag Jet video. I always learn something new from your videos Wade. The “progressive coil-spring shocks” are a first for me and they look great with the white and silver. Those green ball link joints add a nice touch too. Maybe you could find a pair of similar green ones to make a brace linkage for the front tower.
@wadeskelton75853 ай бұрын
Thank you Terence that’s not a bad idea I definitely need to add something there to reduce that flex some green accents would tie it all together!!

Scored a home run with that build mate - did I hear you say you have a lathe? Or was it a milling machine? I guess you not meant to use a car there? Will you be putting decals on it?
@wadeskelton75853 ай бұрын
Thank you! Ended up getting both a cnc mill and lathe, and a manual lathe in order to make a couple tiny parts - completely ridiculous way to go about it but I do use the manual lathe a lot glad to have it! The body does need more decals for sure I just might do that at some point 👍
