My first job was at a Quiznos . The owners use to complain about netting 45k a year. Shortly after I left for college in 2013 they closed down. I miss that place. I gained 50lbs working there 😂

The second owners actually did the right thing by getting into the food distribution business, made their cash filed bankruptcy and let it die before selling it.

5:40 revenue is not profit. You jumped straight to conclusion there. You also didn't account for a change in customer taste. Subway also struggles when people don't buy subs as much anymore.

I've never had a problem with subway, so what if the footlong isn't exactly 12 inches i like the taste of them and unlike fast food chains if you go there you can see them put the stuff together.

the subs shrunk not long after they came to Canada the Quiznos i went to all the time.always had the honey bacon club He told me he is going to close in two months because this cant make much money now and the sub also shrunk

The last time I went to Quizno's, the staff could not have been more rude to the customers. This one loud, testosterone-fueled idiot, who acted like he was in charge, shouted in my face that my order was up. I should have thrown the sandwich at him, turned around and walked out. Never went back.

Subway subs are terrible. 90% Bread and paper thin meats. Haven't been to one in over ten years. And won't go back.

I used to go to Quiznos twice a month. Loved their subs. Tasty and good quality. One day I went and it had caught fire. I kept waiting for it to be repaired and reopened only to learn it there was an open arson investigation. The information in this video causes it all to make sense to me. Closest Quiznos to me now is a couple hours away and I'm sorry, no sub is worth a 4 hour round trip. :)

"F" Subway!!!!! Gross, over rated, crap employees, WAYYY overpriced. I used to love Subway, then, sometime around 2004 they took away Fetta cheese!?? Greek or Italian sub with no Fetta? The next year, more ingredients were taken away. Then it started getting nasty and stores were dirty and visibly unclean work stations. I went to a Subway last month( Aug, 2024),for the first time in 14 years, $38.00 for one chicken club, one Italian "foot long" each and 2 medium drinks!!!??? I said "You're "F'd", put my wallet away and walked away from Subway forever.

Here in France in a boulangerie a foot long sandwich with a croissant and a drink cost about $6

Walking past a Subway outlet, there's always a distinctive and discouraging smell. I've felt like that about Subway for twenty years....don't eat this stuff.

Great product. Horrible franchisor. I represented a franchisee and was shocked at how bad a franchise became to operate. Hardworking people bled out by a greedy corporation.

I don't recall ever patronizing Quiznos. As of the past few years under the horrifically bad Biden years, the cost of a sub at competitor Subway's has skyrocketed so much that I don't even go there any more. Call me cheap but this stuff costs too much. The price blips shown in the video are ancient history.

Somehow even as a kid I knew it had to be a scam! Never bought them because I was scared that if I was wrong and is was not a scam it would be something really creepy so I never bought them. BUt I certinly was impressed by the ads becaus e now 50 years later I am looking up sea monkeys!🤣
