I go to a local café for a fry up breakfast every few weeks. It's advertised as all day but I try to avoid getting close to the lunch period. Just a bit of consideration. I'm intending going tomorrow about 10.00.

even if a hotel says they are pet friendly, even if I've paid the pet fee as part of the reservation... I STILL make it a habit to call ahead and verify everything is all good. it saved me alot of trouble one time, we called ahead and the front desk person said "no problem", we get to the hotel and then a different person says "is that a service dog?", no, we were told by so and so it was fine.... turns out it was fine (must have been a manger or someone I talked to)

I spent over a decade in hotels and all these skits are so traumatizing. People are so rude to the front desk staff. Hotel staff always judge the locals that come in for a birthday pool party and bring in crock pots and all sorts of stuff. Also hockey parents are the WORST

I used to work at a somewhat crappy traveling hotel meant for business and just ppl traveling through town and not holidays type of place. They were pet friends for dogs only to a certain size. Anyways there were some ppl staying who threw a fit about having a pet fee so they said no they will just keep their animals out in the car and take shifts with the pets in the car. We said okay.....it was only like $30 per pet and they got half back if the room wasn't covered in hair too bad and of course accidents or torn-up things would be changed in incidentals. They booked for 2 nights. The 2 nights they booked they had do not disturb sign on the door so housekeeping didn't come in and tidy up but the third day at check out time they must have forgotten so I knocked and no one answered so I'm supposed to just go in and clean up the room. I opened the door and a loose rabbit ran out. Totally unexpected then I had to run after a rabbit and catch it. I returned and put the rabbit in the open cage and found several cages with all sorts of animals. Hampsters, mice, snakes, lizards, and a cat chilling on the bed. Something chewed many holes in the blankets. Rabbit poop everywhere, the cat had clearly sprayed according to the smell and lots of stains, no litterbox in sight. I just put the rabbit in the cage and went down to tell the owner. He called them and they cut him off right away and said they wanted to book another 2 nights. He is a no nonsense kind of man and got on them asking why they had pets in the room. They saod we dont have any pets in the room, their 3 dogs were with them. My boss told them what I found and they instantly tried to say we broke into their room and we werent allowed to do that and were calling the police. My boss wasnt backing down and said you know we only allow dogs on our pets policy and they said but those aren't pets so they don't count.. they were on a trip to sell those animals- not pets because they were rare and we better not have damaged "their goods" or they will sue. He told them they better get back soon and leave and he was charging them for all the incidentals. They refuted the charges and lost😂 and when they came to get "their goods" and belongings they were so wild. Stomping and throwing bedding around, yelling saying this was the worst hotel they had ever been to and a bunch of other trash talk😅

Some people are amazingly stupid she offered a free upgrade and a bottle of champagne or wine along with brownies that would have been way more that I would ever expect. Lol hell I would have been happy with one out of the three lol let alone all three and yet some still want more. Can you say User's.

OK, so relating to the story where the Karen demanded to be checked in and then disappeared with the air whenever I go to a hotel, I like to sit in the lobby and just listen to any drama and normally they also have some type of TV show and I go to Disney a lot so there’s a Disney TV show and then there’s those crazy Disney people you hear the stories about I’ve seen some of them first hand and they are as crazy as they say

I recently had already checked in with the app to a hotel, and THEN Something came up that kept me from going to the town it was in until the next night. Normally, I'd have tried to cancel the reservation and make a new one, but with the check-in done, that was not possible. They were very nice and worked with me ot make the new one and cancel the old one anyway, but it did have to go to the manager, and he had to make sure I made the new reservation for the next night with him BEFORE he could cancel the other one. I fully get why, too: they didn't want to have me try a fast one to get out of it completely. No worries, though, because I did genuinely need the room the next night with my trip delayed by one day.

Last Skit: It always astounds me how people think they can 'change things' without confirming. All of that could have been avoided if she called the hotel and asked 'hey if I book 3rd party, will my rooms still be connected' etc.

A story that is all build up and no payoff is a disservice. If you earn revenue on KZbin then your viewers are paying with their time are you not wasting it? I mean we're getting a cheap deal from our jobs, A bad deal on our groceries, and representatives ignoring the call from fate to address income inequality and a rampant CEO pay structure. Life wastes our finite time for someone else's profit. Don't be the same ma'am.

I was a WDW CP (college program) in 2007-2008 and although I loved the fact that I was doing an internship for Disney, I absolutely hated the internship. Being a CP totally killed my magic, and I had one of the best gigs in the parks (I was a photo pass photographer). But because Disney blatantly takes advantage of its CP’s what could be a huge opportunity is in actuality indentured servitude. You are paid far less than a living wage and then your cost of living and “school fees” are immediately taken out, now providing you work a standard 40 hour week you are lucky to see $70 - $90 in your account for food, gas, your phone bill, and basic expenses. Not to mention that living on property led to a very over se*ualized lifestyle and also lots of alc0h0l and dr*gs. After I finished my 3 seasons with Disney University and returned to My school I was approached to be an ambassador, I told them I could not in good conscience and they made me sign an NDA 😂. I haven’t been back to Disney since.

Considering the HUMANS who stay in hotels can't even be trusted to not urinate/defecate/vomit in the room, it's wild to be bothered by a pet fee

Ok, it's of course in no way the hotel's fault, but do they really need to be evicted for falling victims to a scam? Yeah, they've been stupid, but it happens to many people, noone was hurt, there was no damage to the hotel and throwing someone out just for waking you up early seems excessive.
@johnfijnvandraat6 сағат бұрын
Maybe its just the hotels ive looked but im ised to seeing pet fees between 50% and 100% the cost of the room thats a scam but the cost of an extra hour or two of cleaning is reasonable

I'd imagine the best thing about working for Disney's hotels is that they're too expensive and in-demand for anyone to want to shoot an adult film in one of their rooms. I worked at a mid-range beach resort and stumbled onto my first adult film shoot about four weeks in....

Why are we censoring regular words? Anyway, almost every place I've stayed has a frame lock in addition to the bolt (the thing that's like a chain lock, but a swing arm). So what happens if the wellness check comes around and you refuse to answer? There must be someone in the room because the frame lock is engaged. Will they accept, "All's well in here"? Or what if you're in the shower or on the toilet? Will they call the police and forcibly enter? I understand there are good intentions here, but if I was a ne'er-do-well and I knew the place I was staying at had this policy, I could really take advantage of people willingly opening their door for me.

Well the "24 hours prior to the day of arrival" isn't really connected to the fact that they booked and cancelled a year ago, is it? If their reservation was for a year ago and they cancelled up to 24 hours before, perhaps they could have tried to claim something then. They're just incredibly late. Unless it was a no-show and they're only trying to "cancel" now.

As a dog owner... there almost always is a pet fee and you really have to look for a hotel that allows pets in the first place, so this guy is just trying to be difficult to try to get shit for free.

I don't know were he got this idea that you don't have to pay a pet fee our hotel is like that too I've never actually used it because I don't have a pet because I need a cheaper rate then that and it's probably better to already have your own place to pay a pet fee because if you move into an apartment he'd just have to pay a deposit on it.
