I bought the 3rd optio, which is a roller version for $199. It is the carbon version without electronics.

Nice unboxing. 🤙 The carbon (and roller) version has also spiral differential gears and helical input gears. All chrome steel where the alloy version has alloy gears.

I gotta admit that thing looks slick. The black and yellow is the better color too Those a arms have more beef than a cattleman's convention. That's insane.

The front receiver box is the one being used, the rear one is a spare. 🤷

Do you think this would do well with a 3670 1950kv motor and a max 10 esc? In terms of like driving/handling. I know durability is not specifically known as its new.

Wish these brands would design their own bodies instead of copying existing designs.

Lots of brands do that and even Rlaarlo have a couple of cars that are unique, but it's hard to relate to the design when they do. Take HPI and their Savage trucks - a unique design that some people liked and others hated. Maverick did the same with their street bashers and it became a hot topic on socials. And the list goes on... Sometimes it's just better to stick to a familiar design that people will recognise and relate to. 🤷

The brand name is just...bad. I mean, if they win a few IFMAR championships I would be more tolerant, but my only knowledge of this brand is small scale Chinese junk, and the name is just cringe. This is marketing failure of the highest order, IMO. Call me a snob or whatever. Street cred and marketing matter.

Rlaarlo has been a round for a couple of years now and they are head and shoulders above the "Chinese junk" you're thinking of. I'm not just saying this, I know this! Having been gifted quite a number of small scale RCs of a few different brands in the last 12 months or so, Rlaarlo is by far the best of them all. This is a basher rally car designed to be fun to drive and durable, there's nothing in this video or in anyone else's video of this car (that I've seen) that hints at being a precision driving machine designed to win championships. With all due respect, you can get off your high horse with that statement. As far as the marketing goes, this is pretty much standard afair for a new release. A bunch of youtubers get free cars and we all make our content and give our opinions on it, modify it or do whatever is our niche. You wanna talk about a marketing flop, look up the MJX 1/10 scale truck that was released about 2 or 3 months ago and see how that compares. Yes, street cred and marketing matter, but that's only skin deep, my friend, because it doesn't matter what an RC is called, all that matters is how it drives and whether you enjoy it or not. They can call it "Goony-goo-goo" for all I care, I just wanna it to put a smile on my face when I drive it. 😃 Happy bashing. 😎👍

@@AussieRCPlaygroundduly noted. I believe the car would get way more traction with better branding. The car does look very nice, but the company is leaving loads of business on the table, IMO.
