I have grey/white hair at least for 20 years. It gave me a wonder feeling to have my natural progressed hair. Some of the tops could be worn under a jacket - blue Jean, for instance or put a silk scarf with colours to compliment your skin/hair. After all they are beautiful. I still wear grey, use cheek colour and brighter lipstick with eyelid colour. It makes a big difference. I get compliments all the time. I wish you the best. You may be a winter/summer cross.

Why don't you pop those garments that you don't think suit you now in the dye pot. It's a very easy process.

Oh my goodness those people who make comments like that - what are they thinking!? I really enjoy your podcast, and I am SO glad you are taking it as "if you don't like it, go watch someone else" Please keep doing what you are doing, I LOVE your local content and all the details of what you are making and how it goes (and one day soon I promise to visit your shop too!)

Mentioning hair colour. I was dark brown. Now grey. I no longer colour my hair due to alopecia. Loved my favourite colour green but can no longer wear as it doesn't suit my complexion.

I had my colours done in my late 20's and when they did them, they covered our hair and only used skin tone. I still have my colour chart and I am grey now too and the colours that suited me then still are my best colours. I used to wear more muted colours as they were more practical but when we left Auckland 7 years ago, I decided to use the colours I love. I am a Spring and love colour.

My hair went grey very early on and I had it coloured for far too long, only when the lockdowns came I decided lets just carry on growing it out. My only regret is I didn't do it sooner as my natural hair is so much healthier and I've grown to like the colour it is. It's really interesting hearing you talk about how certain colours make you feel. I'm a bit conflicted about having colours done as I've heard from some people who found they aren't what they were told was their colours. I kind of feel like you are best at deciding your colours as you lit up when you talked about how certain colours gave you confidence or you felt most comfortable wearing. Happy New Year

Hi Lisa. I’ve been watching you from day 1. It’’s so nice to see how much you’ve evolved and your podcast is really professional and fun with lots of good content. You give great advice and it really helps motivate me in making new things. Also, I was wondering what was different about your look and it’s your hair-which I absolutely love. I wish I had platinum hair color and I noticed how beautiful the bright colors are looking on you. Pink is really your new color! Thanks for all you do on you channel. I look forward to watching you. Happy New Year Lisa. Thank you for another interesting vlog, particularly enjoyed your discussion on colours as our skin and hair changes with aging. I’ve also struggled with this and had an analysis last March with a consultant who lives near Arrowtown, which I’ve found super helpful.

Really appreciate your discussions on your projects and the fibres and techniques you use. I can’t remember the name of the bind off you have previously suggested as a quick but effective bind off and why aren’t you considering it for your Chantal sweater.? When you finish it can you please let us know the size you knitted and the yardage as I am considering knitting it. Thank you!

Hi Lisa, I’m the same, always thinking about my hair and having to dye it regularly. Maybe I should go naturally grey? I think you are a summer because you look good in the pinks and blues. Are you going to knit and gather in March? The cumulus blouse is stunning! Love the colour combo ❤

Same thing happened to me when my hair colour changed.... I haven't had my colours done but I went on line and found the Deep Autum colour chart and I stick to that now.. so easy choosing colours and decluttering wardrobe with the colour chart.

Hi Lisa, the aging hair colour change is confronting, finding too that colours I was confident wearing no longer feel good to wear. Thanks for being vulnerable and sharing this. I dont know but thought your colours were summer or winter. Maybe you switched from summer to winter with hair colour change. Be interesting to follow your discovery, we are all changing and learning ❤

Happy New Year Lisa! I love the V Chantal sweater. I knit it before Christmas but had to redo it because it turned out too big. I knit it with yarn by Les Biscotte I bought at Knit City and it was an investment, so I wanted to make sure it was perfect! Yes, our colour preferences and suitability definitely do change and how we like to dress. I don't like oversized tops and I run hot. So even though it's cold here in Hamilton, I can't wear heavy worsted weight yarns. It happens....LOL Rosie

Hi lisa no one is making them watch, it’s their problem. Some people just like to complain. However If you do want to see where to look into an iPhone to make ‘eye contact’ with your audience, use your finger to cover where the lens is when you are taping and that will tell you exactly which part of the camera screen to look at to be looking ‘at’ people. You could use a sticky ‘donut’ dot or something to remind you for a while till you get comfortable with where the lens is.
