Hi Lisa, I really enjoyed this episode learning about your trip to Canada and seeing all your purchases. You mentioned at one point a yarn called CaMaRose. This is by a Danish designer - the yarn named after her children I think. If you would like to learn more about this yarn and designer Fruity Knitting did an episode with her - Episode 141. Also, I have made the Felix Cardigan and love it. I used an 8ply yarn that I had in stash on 6mm needles instead of 4mm - didn't get gauge of course, 17st/10cm instead of 14st/10cm, so did larger size and made it longer, not boxy - but it is so comfortable, my go-to cardi. Best wishes, Kristine

Hello from Toronto. I was exhausted after attending Knit City on Saturday and will be more measured next time. It was a much larger show than Montreal last year. I went to the Knitting Loft on Sunday and picked up pink yarn for a shawl so I still ended up with more yarn. I agree with your recommendation to make the effort to attend knitting shows, but I will pace myself better next time as I also took a class on both Friday and Saturday. Love your pinks.

It was so nice meeting you and your friend at Knit City. I live in Hamilton and used to live in Toronto and I've never been to the Knitting Loft....I KNOW! Do you recall the store you went to in Hamilton? I'm sorry that you got sick, but glad you got to enjoy some of the sites. I've grown up going to Niagara Falls and it has lost it's allure. But i'm glad that you loved it! Maybe I'll see you one day in New Zealand.
