Lovely podcast, so full of goodies. Loved you Felix cardy and also the Suri top you are wearing, It looks so good on you.Amikihia Knits sure has a lot of designs but I really fancied Awhi Shawl. It looks dressy and will be very useful on my Europe trip next year. Looks like I am going to have to get saving for some more Thread and Maple pages and binder, they are superb.

Thanks for the inspiration, Lisa. I’m a bit unmotivated since my Labrador got hold of the mohair cardigan I was knitting and chewed it. It’s not like she’s a puppy, she’s 6 years old.

We cant purchase naptholene balls in Australia. Some say you cant get the smell out of the yarn. Is this correct? I use natural infused cedar balls, rings and EnvironSafe Moth traps.
@UnwindandKnitwithMe19 күн бұрын
I use a lot of moth balls and naphthalene balls and have not a problem with the smell. I don't put them directly on the yarn, i just scatter them around the room and cupboards. I can only get them in the Indian supermarkets her in NZ.

I’ve found out that it’s illegal to sell mothballs/naphalene in NZ. The Indian grocers in Auckland were threatened with prosecution if they didn’t take them from the shelves. Perhaps it’s old stock in Chch. They are not illegal in Australia.

That is interesting. I did notice on the pack it says "for religious purposes" Maybe I should stock up while i can.
