I personally just used some vinegar first, then some acetone to make sure nothing was left behind for the material to react too. I followed the instructions on the can. I would have shown what I did but I did it over the course of 3-4 days and when I started I forgot to record it. It cleaned a lot of the old stuff and the new stuff has a real nice smooth coat on everything

So it’s looking like we have designed a handlebar to increase height, narrow the width, and produce less pullback to give the bike a better feel rather than swapping risers. The bars will be in this week so once we get a chance to mock them up, we will def post a video and let everyone know what we think. If this doesn’t work, the plan is to create either lifts for the stock risers or a whole new set of risers to resemble the stock stuff but that is designed for a 1” bar instead of the stock 1.25” bar

Since we used small spacers to kick the lights out, the threads wouldn’t haven’t been long enough. Were actually replacing the setup with some well nuts similar to want holds the rear seat portion on so all we have to do is thread in the screw

Yeah we learned that after the seat pan arrived. 😂. New video just dropped explaining the slight differences. At least we have another bike that can use the incorrect pan 😀

I believe they only offer 13.75 for the fxr, 14” are for dyna and from what many have said, are too stiff for a fxr. Fxr and Sportys are interchangeable

It came with no instructions so I wasn’t sure but it definitely got everything to line up and work easily

Yes, the stock belt still works just fine. The wheel is all the way to the back of my swingarm but there’s still a little adjustment left so it’s not maxed out

I can safety go 140 and still not be in reserve. To fill up takes about 3.6 so there’s only a little over half a gallon left
