Alfa's infamous unreliability is at this stage actually considered a selling point!

Could the reason that Mercedes Benz had a reputation for being "bulletproof" be that they used to be the choice of transport for Herr Hitler and the other top ranking Nazis? I'd say that I've probably seen more broken down Mercedes than any other make of car over the course of the last twenty years or so.

Every brand seems to use more and more computers in their models. Good when it works, but a pile of junk when not. Costs fortunes to repair, and often it won't last for long. Take a car like Vauxhall Cresta / Velox from start nineteen sixties. Style, luxurius for it's time. A reliable engine and onlly three speed in the gearbox, but it worked. The cars rustet away over time, but the mecanic was reliable and strong. Mercedes at that time could go on forever almost. They knew how to make cars, and ten and fifteen years later they still did. But all that electronic can make any car a basketcase if it won't work as supposed to. Just saying

Surprised people defend their cars just cos they own one. I have a Honda Civic and I HATE it. Why? Because it's boring to drive, but it's cheap to run and won't go wrong, so I'm COMPELLED to keep it.😱

I bought a Mercedes cla 200 after I had a Mercedes c220cdi cdi and was appalled about the poor quality of the car, flimsy plastics and just poor all over. I sold the car in disgust and bought a Toyota corolla which at half the price is 200% better. My father drove a lot of Mercedes in the past and they were bulletproof but the new generation sucks big time all flashy but underneath pure crap.

Vauxhaull is a General Motors product, as a car enthusiast GM is not a car company! It’s a finance company that builds widgets with wheels that are designed to maximize profits for the company at the expense of the consumer. The two happiest days of ownership are the day you bought it, and the day you sell it! The Moto of GM is “The Mark of Excellence” that day has long passed, and a better Moto would be” We Take a Bad Idea, and Make it Worse for less Money”! Bad designs, cheap materials, substandard quality, and way over priced! I would add Chrysler, and Nissan to the list, because they have hired to many ex-General Motors engineers that have brought those awful designs to those companies.

When you have driven your car for five years, and never checked Oil or Water, and (yet) you have confidence to drive it anywhere, you have a good car! I only check tyre pressures - and charge it overnight. So why are car Manufacturers sitting pretty - producing (almost) disposable cars? Things never used to be this way. Too much plastic / Wet Belts INSIDE the engine. I have owned the same car for 20 years. I will never change it. Most Car Manufacturers today are not 'greening the Planet' at all. Early Volvos / Mercs / Fords were built to last. They were simple to fix. All of this has now gone. I drive a 1971 VW Super Beetle - converted to EV. I never tire of the thrill to get behind the wheel. No depreciation and 100% reliable. And I love it!

I totally agree you about this list all crap cars but fortunately there are a lot of vehicles brands out there that are reliable and in this video you referred to them Toyota and Mazda they are on my list of reliable car brands l live in Australia so there is lsuzu Honda Lexus and Suzuki all Japanese companies and Mahindra from India they can out together a good reliable vehicle after all our Suzuki Baleno are made in lndia no longer available in Australia we still get the other Suzuki's in Australia and l know my own family have the mentioned reliable vehicles after all l live in Australia were the Japanese reliable brands are sold our son has a Suzuki Jimny our daughter has a Mazda3 my elder brother drives around in a low kilometre 1976 Toyota Corolla as for my younger brother has a crappy Kia so does one of my Sister in law but my other sister in law has a first generation low kilometre first generation Honda Jazz and has owned since new and l own a 1997 Toyota Hilux so simple so reliable no complicated electronics in fact no electronics except for the radio cassette and it is sort of working and l haven't found any in built obsolescence because the 22R engine is good the manual gearbox is fine has the original carburator and everything's mechanical also reliability is a luxury and its coverted me into a Toyota fan boy also there are a lot of Toyota's driving around 20 30 40 year old ones and a lot of newer ones and your list included one Japanese manufacturer Nissan they are absolute crap these days there are two Canadian you tube channels there videos are based on reliable and unreliable vehicles and all the car brands are always mentioned as unreliable and the other European brands and Vauxhaul in Australia when Holden were making cars which by the way tbe Australian built cars are reliable plenty of 10 20 and 30 year old Comadores driving around we got the Holden Astra known as the Disastra because there were crap

Nissan - pretty sure they had no money after a Japanese financial crisis and needed a strange bedfellow. Enter renault Has former CEO of Renault-Nissan alliance, Carlos Ghosn faced Court for the fraud charges? Asking for a friend. Is Carlos Ghosn around (former CEO of Nissan)? He borrowed a music case and hasn’t returned it. Asking for a friend.

All the actual cars are crap, costing a fortune to maintain and finally designed to fail (like the Peugeot Puretech engine). Instead of choosing such electronic and plastic scam, what about having a 20 years old car and do the maintenances and repairs by yourself? Then you also avoid another scammers, the mechanics.
