Lol This video made me miss my Playstation, also made me miss my SS 1LE too! I agree with you though I literally drove a 991 Porsche 911 Carrera S and then drove my SS 1LE afterwards and I felt like the SS 1LE was more fun to drive.

You need to get a PS5 and stay inside! The SS 1LE definitely is underrated and undervalued for how high it punches above the weight class.

You don't literally drive a Porsche you physically can. When are these filler words going to end. It reminds me of the female norcal Valley slang.."LIKE, oh my god, did he just say that?" I would only guess I'm expired because most of you younger guys and gals are using fillers. Too old to know better . It just sounds weird to me, I know it is a lot of work to drive the mid 80s 911 .

The SS 1LE out the box is unmatched in value. Porsches are cool but their manuals suck unless it’s a GT car. The PDK is amazing though.

Agreed! It’s hard to compete with that PDK. But I can’t lie Porsche always been one step ahead with performance with their cars as they perform very high with less hp. It’s crazy.

Funny I was debating between my SS and a Caymen. So glad I got the SS over the caymen. The Caymen is more like the RS.

Yeah the SS is a wayy better car for value! If you want SS feel with great luxury interior then the Porsche is your best option BUT the maintenance will definitely be higher for that name as well. Its definitely give or take

The Cayman?! I would consider that but spec for spec the SS 1LE is performing up there with the GT3 series if we’re talking lap times and etc. on the track the old doesn’t compete but it’s still a stellar car! Even the new ones is up there in performance no since it shares the same engine as the GT3 just less hp by not much tho

C7 GS is the poor mans porsche. Camaimro has better steering feek and easier to drive at the limit than the C7 VS though. C7GS is a bargain even at $60k used. I track a 6th gen camaro ss. FBO, 19inch wheels and 200tw tires and a buch of other goodies.

Lol. No comparison. 911 is the best sports car ever made. Everyone knows it and has known it for 20 years. However they have gotten crazy expensive in the last 5 years. Hence the poor man’s alternative.

I agree! Not shaming the 911 at all! One of the dream cars to get! I’m just comparing spec for spec and HP and lap times. When you considered a 45K car competing with 300k+ cars thats pretty impressive especially when you look at lap times and we know Porsche has a lot of painted carbon fiber to get that lovely curb weight and aero to make it work together

@@BLUPRINT1LE I would send a pic of it, but I don't know how. I love your channel. I subscribed when I was looking for info on my Camaro purchase. A couple years back I was trying to get a ZL1, but they were hard to get ordered. A few months ago, they had a 2SS 1LE convertible in the color package I wanted. The Riptide blue with white seats and chrome wheels (I like the old school finishes). It's an automatic so the wife could drive it (that was one of the only ways I could get it). I was surprised how fast it is stock, but the car can just chill and cruise too. What I love about your channel is like the old days you drive it and race it. I'm not much of a gear head but the way you are interchanging engine parts and getting the performance results is cool. Please keep making the great videos. Thank you.

Aw man that’s awesome you been part this channel for a very long time. That’s my goal really and that’s what I was used to seeing was people working on it and racing it but it seems people don’t like to do that any more. Maybe it’s how I grew up in the Motor City and it’s heavily auto influenced. Congratulations on the Riptide blue! I was going to get one in that color but it sold right from under me but I was lucky to get my order in during those hard times! Glad you was able to get a car you can enjoy!

I like the z28! I wouldn’t consider it the best Camaro that’s ever made its the most sought after due to limiting production numbers but it’s one of the best track Camaros they made before the created the SS 1LE and ZL1 1LE. Z28 is last raw muscle car you can get! But I’m just talking specs and hp and laptimes to prove my point. Not discrediting Porsche at all as I’m working towards getting a Porsche Cayman GT4 RS

I’m sorry bro stock for stock as you can’t prove no evidence any similar evidence of laptimes with a Talon. That Talon will get destroyed on a race track by a Porsche & Camaro! Im not talking driving 1/4 mile and stuff. Your Talon not even in the same league to compete or has ever been considered a drivers car. The SS 1LE has been on the list with higher rank cars and prove to punch way above its weight class with its numbers. As I showed in the end of both laps times. Thats the main goal of my video. Not talking to be talking when I showed facts I didn’t make up these numbers but sounds like you got a nice project car over there where you made good hp though
