I grew up near Klineline. Fished it constantly from late 60's through the 90's. First salmon, first and largest steelhead 23lbs, biggest searun 25 inches and many limits of trout and steelhead. I do miss fishing it but am now on the North Ilympic Peninsula. I just read they have extended steelhead into May. March used to be an excellent month.

You can walk down to the creek next to any public road bridge using the public right away. Once at the shore up or down stream using navigable waters act right of way to the 100 year flood mark. You trespass only if you enter or leave thru private land

I don't have Facebook or anything like that but you can send me an email at [email protected] and I'll give you my number and we can figure out a plan of attack for both rivers.....I was at Salmon Creek yesterday and it's super high and chocolate milk right now so we'll have to wait for it to drop but the other river is almost always fishable. Hit me up and we can go whenever you have time.....ty for watching my videos I really appreciate it 😁

@cluelessfisherman4555
@cluelessfisherman4555 2 жыл бұрын
Where I caught this fish is private property but at klineline I've caught fish above and below the bridge but it seems you just need to keep moving from spot to spot and find the fish. Pay attention to local river water flows to kinda guess Salmon Creek height because at different flows fish hold in way different spots and make them easier to target.

This spot is on private property and the landowner will call the cops on trespassers.....I've caught fish all throughout the system and no one spot is better than another, the key for catching Steelhead on Salmon Creek is keep moving and throw the kitchen sink at them and always throw bait at them first i.e. spawn sacks, sand shrimp and cured prawns then go to beads, jigs and spinners....ty for watching and commenting 😀
