Matt was a fantastic singer, Paul McCartney said Matt was his favourite singer and Frank Sinatra was a big fan, a wonderful voice, he died far to young.

When I was young I was standing on a street (Gabriels Hill) in Maidstone, Kent waiting for a mate to finish work, and Matt Monro came towards me, stopped and asked me the way to a particular street. Funny what we remember.

I have heard of him, but I'm not familiar with his work. I like that you always mention the astrological birth signs of your subjects. He very much looked like a crooner rather than a rocker. It's pretty cool seeing him in photos with Adam, Freddy, and Dusty.

@@chrisbacos Yes have thought about branching out a little as there are so many deserving of recognition in the music industry. Would really love to do a video on Casey Kasem as he was a huge part of my love of music growing up 🥰 Every weekend we would get a telecast of his US Top 40 radio show and it was so exciting to see what was popular in America ❤ I think Casey's show played worldwide. Great memories! 💯🤗

Not bad, but not completly accurate. Go to the Matt Monro official page for a 4 part audio series, mainly in Matt's own words called "The Boy From Shoreditch" (not Finsbury Park) and his Mother live long enough to see his success, passing away in the 1960's not when he was 3! I could go on.
