The regionals have gradually been ditching them because there's not really a good way to make a variable pitch spline drive. It's inherently weak, complicated, and when it fails, it's really bad news™. Not quite as bad as Pinto Swiss Watch Ferrari the V-22 is with its gearbox chip burn history and bad rep with Marines, but not quite as reliable, robust, and predictable as turbofans tend to be. (Geared turbofans and propfans make me nervous until proven in a test cell for hours on end, and then millions of engine hours later.) (I used to fly to see my grandparents from DFW to Sheppard AFB/SPS on a noisy ATR 42.for about 30 minutes.)

ATR : cold in winter, hot in summer, but no funky trip with at least one leg in an ATR.

New ITA AIRWAYS A321NEO it's better than KLM. ITA have a really Business Class as long haul flights. I never seen Business Class with 3 seats, so 😔
