A 50mm deep (I use one from sunex) will save you quite a bit of time changing out the female quick coupler on a CAT skidsteer. They have a shroud around them on occasion for lack of a better word that make it difficult to get a wrench on them. These are the couplers that thread directly into the manifold on the arm not the the type you can thread adapters in and out of like on the work tools.

On the plastic hose clamp pliers, take a piece of hose (like the 3/8 black hose) and put one cut length wise in the hose and then snap the hose over the pliers, one hose on each side. Thats how I use those plastic ones and it works great!

How are we supposed to know how to use a slide hammer when you show how to use it, it gets blurred out. Funny. Thanks TekamoHD, Cam and Tylor always entertaining. Mueller Kueps makes some awesome tools. Been happy with everything I have bought so far. Would like to get a few Koken Ratchets, they look tough.

TekamoHd you guys should go to a major airport and film an episode for your “The Tools They Use” series. Find a major airline or city that will let you film their ground equipment maintenance Tech Tools. We tow equipment, respond to service calls/accidents, work on everything from basic bag carts, cargo Dollie’s, aircraft stands to million dollar aircraft de-icers, push out tractors, our miller industry wreckers, ford trucks/vans, etc. Tons of different tools we use. I think I lot of people would find it interesting.

I have a few family friends who are aviation technicians and it’s pretty much the same as automotive mechanics

@ no it’s not?…I’m a GSE tech not an aircraft tech. We have our de-icer trucks, lavatory trucks, various types of aircraft push back tractors, baggage tractors, bobtail cargo trucks, forklifts from 2,500 pound max lift capacity all the way up to 20,000 pound lift capacity, platform lift trucks, skyjack lifts of various height/weight capacities, fleet of F-150’s, F-250 super duties, Ford transits, Ford eco transits, aircraft jacks, aircraft stands, aircraft maintenance platforms, aircraft maintenance stairs(powered & non powered), cargo Dollie’s that’ll carry up to 15,000 pounds, bagcarts. We have 7 service trucks, 4 shops at the 1 airport alone, 3 tow trucks(Custom Century 5130 heavy duty wrecker, Century 10 series flatbed, Century 2465 light duty). We respond to service calls, accidents, do repairs on our fleet, do PM’s on our fleet, weld, fabricate, have a in house paint shop & body shop.
