That rag is a ouchie. I thought that I done that once with an intake on a 6068 Deere. Caught it before I started it and took the intake back off just to find I had already removed it. Now I won’t take off parts until I have the replacement if possible 😂😂

Oh, so probably because transmission pump was cooked and wasn't providing enough back pressure (and flow), the clutch was not engaged all the way, which increased friction and destroyed the clutch plates. I'm a software dev, so what I said is probably incorrect))

@theadmiralchallenger62653 ай бұрын
I would strongly disagree with Cam on that statement. Yes you have to have the right tools for the job and that usually involves money, however the true difference between an amateur or a "home gamer" is attention to detail. Cams right in that a real pro wouldn't have shoved something in that orifice it should have been covered but rags in holes is absolutely an option for certain things

Jesus man, why does that fabricator yell the last word of every sentence?
@TYSuggested3 ай бұрын
Probably gone halfway deaf because even though they work in fabrication they don't use proper hearing protection. Those disposable earplugs are not sufficient for long term exposure to the noise levels that come with heavy grinding, welding and swinging hammers. Also surprised to see him working without a forced air helmet or respirator in dust and welding fumes. Doing that shit for a couple decades isn't going to be nice on your body.

I find it hard to believe people still use donaldson filters. They may have been the best thing back in the day and i know they cost like 1/4 of the manufacturers price for OEM filters but damn. we had d11's at the mine filters blow apart and they were donaldson. We compared the filters to CAT and the way they seal etc is different than CAT. We lost a 777 hauler because the donaldson filter blew apart at the seal and it was just serviced. Cost almost 200k for a new engine. We use only OEM filters since then. When it comes to light vehicles we use WIX. I have been operating for 20 years or so and i've seen soo many engines get wrecked from donaldson.
@Number18ster3 ай бұрын
I could be wrong, but I thought Donaldson made the CAT filters?
