I suddenly remembered this song and couldn’t find it. I used the Google app to find it. Believe it or not, i hummed the song and Google found it. I LOVE this song. It brings me back to a time when I could listen to the radio all day without a care in the world, to driving down 280 in the Bay Area. Thank you!

OMG! I can’t believe I found this!!! 😭❤️😭 this song means so freaking much to me!!!! I was a small child full of wonderment in a blue metal stroller in a Tomorrowland, loving my visit at Walt Disney World in the 1980’s or early 90’s! Then I n 1999, I was 17 years old and got a job as an attraction attendant in Tomorrowland. Every time this song came on the area loop, those same childhood magical whimsy feelings would come over me. I went on to become a mom. I loved watching my children grow, running around Tomorrowland, while I heard this same song play, never knowing what this song was. Today I’m sitting in a medical office, of all places, and it comes on in the lobby, using Google to search numerous times, I finally find the song! I feel like a small part of me has been found!!! ❤❤❤

Hi Paul, I've been a fan of you and David Lanz' music since mid 1991, when I first discovered the Narada CD collection at the local music stores. My first CD was Desert Vision, followed by Natural States and Bridge of Dreams (as soon as it hit the shelves in '93). I have David's _Nightfall_ solo piano album and one or two Narada sampler CDs and Michael Gettel's _Skywatching_ album, in which you contributed the guitar parts. I also bought the Desert Vision and Natural States DVD It wasn't until 2011, I think - when I discovered you sold your music through your website and I ordered a copy of Oculus, Wonders, Televoid, Hells Canyon and about four years ago it was Sonoran Odyssey. Thank you for the invitation via email to sample Adventures in Space, I've downloaded it but have yet to sit down to listen to the songs. 🙂 I've seen this very video of your Mexico City performance several times on your KZbin channel. At the time when you toured with David and Neal (my deepest sympathies for your loss) were there any plans to release this performance as a live album either on CD or VHS/LD/DVD? Is the rest of this concert's footage still available and do you roughly remember the set list? 😀
@PaulSpeerMusicАй бұрын
Hi StratMan - Thanks for your message and long time support. There are no plans to release this concert in any format. Besides, it would be quite complicated to negotiate the rights to do that. I do appreciate your interest. I don't recall the set list other than we opened with Eagle's Path. 🦅

Loved Natural States- Desert Vision as a kid (yes as an 8-10 year old child in the late 80s). I was a bit of an odd kid. This is all derived from really loving Arizona after coming back from my Uncle's wedding in early 1988. I also was a huge fan of the Warner Bros. shorts featuring the Roadrunner and Wile E. Coyote at the time as well.

Because you seem like a cool guy, responding to comments & all, I have a question, how did it end up in the Wonders of Life Pavilion in EPCOT Center? Did Disney need to confront you on using the music, or did you write it specifically for EPCOT Center, or what? Thanks Paul😊
@PaulSpeerMusic3 ай бұрын
It was composed for the video you see here. I don't know how Epcot got it. A likely scenario would be someone at Disney heard it, contacted Narada Records about licensing the recording, and they worked out a deal. FYI, there are no standard rates for this kind of thing so the fee would have been negotiated between Disney and Narada.

October 8, 1991. Having just purchased this cassette, I was absorbing and creating the mindscapes this music holds the blueprints for. Memories of dreams yet to be dreamt, wishes for things unseen and unkempt. Feelings without words, emotions without weight. Breathing in between the notes, moving within the melody, existing without pressure to be. Thanks for this.
