Tawtoma - David Lanz and Paul Speer

"Tawtoma" (Hopi for "Where the Sun Goes Over the Line). From the music video album Desert Vision released in 1987. Originally shot on 16mm film and this transfer is from the laserdisc. Shot in Organ Pipe National Monument, San Rafel Reef, and Canyonlands National Park.

I love this song! The video is breath taking. Love at the end how the desert turns to dark as the song closes. Thank you so much Paul for putting these on KZbin!

@@PaulSpeerMusic I still have the DVD and play it back from time to time. Even though the video era of the day is more like 4K resolution, I still like the images and love the music.

@@francoisleveille409 Desert Vision and Natural States were shot on 16mm film and transferred to 1" videotape for editing. I made these transfers from the laserdiscs and was the best quality I could get. A bit fuzzy compared to hi def today. Oh well. Glad people like you still enjoy them.
