This is propaganda for a scam. This product is a scam. There's so many wind turbine scams now that they're starting to make actual, functional wind turbines look like scams. There's a reason companies like FirstSolar and others are expanding and selling their solar panels rapidly and that wind power is mainly reserved for large scale power generation, and that reason is PHYSICS. At the heart of the Liam F1, it's mainly all about trying to get uneducated investors to give the company money, and THAT'S how this company makes money.

Be prepared to see the big players dis credit the benefits of this invention. They don’t want you to be self sufficient. The same interests that don’t want high mileage vehicles

In the video, Michał Woźniak, an engineer with many years of experience in wind turbine design, criticizes the Liam F1 Urban Wind Turbine from The Archimedes company. He points out several significant flaws in this design: The small swept area of the blades limits the total wind energy input. As a drag-type turbine, its efficiency is below the maximum theoretical limit. It will be more expensive than simpler 3-bladed lift-based turbines. The low mounting height above the roof prevents capturing undisturbed wind flow. It will not be able to cost-effectively produce sufficient energy to justify its price. It will be an inefficient "white elephant" and an unsightly construction constantly pivoting like a weathervane. It will not effectively capture the kinetic energy even of the local turbulent wind. Engineer Woźniak believes the marketing promises about this turbine are exaggerated and untrue. His criticism is based on his extensive experience in wind turbine design. kzbin.info/www/bejne/ambSm62vjcaIldksi=u6alCuglR-7nUIlB

These are ok to experiment with, but for real energy on demand, nothing beats petroleum. Drill baby drill.

The efficiency of any wing-lift device relies on the minimum disc/wing loading. These stubby blades with their rapidly changing angles of attack are going to suffer from very high wing loading but also suffer from shock-stalling due to the rapidly changing angles of attack. No doubt the idea can be made to function but in my opinion it will be fearfully inefficient as a means of providing lift.

How does it hold up to hail or tornadic winds? Does it have a limiter on it so it doesn't overspin or can the unit take a hit from pea to golfball size hail???

What happened to the Ventum Dynamics wind turbine at the end of the Skegness pier in Skegness, England? A November 2023 video showed a rope tied to the wind turbine blades, which prevented the blades from turning. An April 2024 video showed that the turbine had been removed from the pier.

Ball Bearings. They wear out. Unless they're using magnetic ball bearings that don't touch anything so they don't wear out. Didn't hear anything about that.

Cycloidal props work well in water....not well in air as they're too small and need to spin too fast. Big thrust needs big bite and surface area engaging the air and cycloidal props just don't have it.

This horizontal helix turbine design should be much-much safer for birds, when compared to typical vertical open blade options and being silent, that will help everyone. Yes, I know there are other helical turbines on the market. The water is warm, innovators jump in!

It'll never work in the USA because we never measure in kilometers. So no electricity ever from this generator. MPH is our go to system because the entire nation is measured off already in miles, and that's the way it is forever.

Throw some numbers down. It produces on average 4.1kWh a day (1500kWh a year), however costs $AUD5900. I have solar PV that is 13.3kW and produces 85kWh a day in summer and 60kWh a day in winter (NSW Australia). The system cost me $11k. So I would need 20 of these turbines to match at a cost a $118,000.....Yep destroys every home renewable hey

So tell us - how are the wind turbines that cost millions of dollars in the desert or the ocean hold up? Did they pay off what it cost to build them? Are they continuing to maintain them or give up and just let them decay after they burn out. I'm not against alternative power - just wasting money on something that costs more to build than it returns in power savings.
