This actually is a needed type of video on the Insta360. Many of the KZbin videos on Insta360 do not talk about how the camera and the app "think". Yet, this is necessary when you want to know how to set up the "relationships" between the devices so that you can actually accomplish basic tasks. For example, most people don't talk about "USB Mode" in the settings. However, the four different options found there are important for accomplishing some of the basic tasks (like moving images to a computer - which is not as simple as moving to a mobile phone). You do gloss over some things (like the three upper right symbols on the "All" tab under "Album" at the bottom). So, as you point out, it can be confusing to know when the camera has actually downloaded a full version of the recording to the external device. (As you know, downloading or transferring a full version is not the same exporting a "worked" video.) Also, I really liked the comments on selecting aspect ratio BEFORE setting up keyframes. This is an important frustration to avoid. Last, in response to your request, I think editing on the computer is ultimately my preferred approach. However, during long travel trips I may edit on my phone as a matter of convenience for showing videos to fellow travelers.

So will the rest of the footage still be there? Like if I want to make 3 different short clips from a 14 minute video.. is all the footage gone after the first clip or how do I get it back/start over??

Great tutorial! Concerning use of the quick reader, can you save the video files to external sd card inserted in phone? Can Insta360 mobile app read from external sd inserted in phone? Something tells me no, since the Insta360 mobile app cannot download to the external sd card in phone.

Dude, in 1:04 your chain seems kinked and dry. Great job at changing the oil, but please use a torque wrench next time. Open the oil fill cap before opening the drain plug to let the air in and help oil flow. You don’t need front paddock stand for this. Great job measuring the right amount of oil.

There are some places that make good quality track kits, the trick is not buying Chinese shit.A wrap done well on that kit you wouldn't see, the only time you see that is if people cheap out. If you are wanting to save a little cash search for 'pattern fairings' and go for an established name UK or US or western European manufacturer who makes them in the place vs dropshipping from China. Going plain makes the fairings cheaper but painting to high spec is big money vs getting a basic single colour gel coat. If you wanted to do something a little more interesting, One thing that would look amazing is going for an Endurance fairing set. Which would give you lights and the slightly more road orientated bodywork shaping. I LOVE the look of a Endurance front fairing. They are a beautiful way to go. The only thing you have to add is indicators but the endurance look can be incredibly clean. The suspension kit, I'd be tempted to keep if you can get it valved or sprung for you. It will really improve the bike vs the stock R1. Which is... Undersprung stock even for your weight. As for being abused, club racers tend to look after their bikes because you are funding it yourself. From what you've shown in close ups that bike has been VERY well looked after. The frame slider on there is designed to NOT flip the bike which the plastix/rubber ones tend to do. Flipping a bike is always expensive. From what I can tell of your bike it's outside of the era of floating crank issues. It wasn't the whole silver engine era but it's something to keep an eye on since they never warrantied it. The aftermarket quickshifter, needs to be setup properly, it's up and down which... Is significantly nicer to use than the stock one.

As a Yamaha R15 m owner (probably you know much) I'm having TFT display issue more frequently. In my opinion it may caused by the ECU. And the Yamaha connect doesn't work and the Yamaha service is not good either (sad to say that👍🏾) Any solutions Cause who wouldn't love a R1 inspired TFT display in there bike

Great video as always and just what I was looking for. At Christmas I got an insta360 and have used it a few times but not really done anything with the footage. I also have a gopro and with that I've been using resolve to edit. Now I want to use some footage from the insta360 and some from the gopro but am not sure what the best workflow solution is. How do you do it? Do you edit the 360 in insta360 studio export it then bring it into your preferred editing software, if so do you export it in prores or H264 or H265? Or, do you export all the footage into your editing software and use that to manipulate the 360 footage, again which export settings do you use? I'm just not sure which solution is best in terms of colour correction and time as in which is ultimately quicker. Any help would be much appreciated, thank you and keep up the good work!

Great video. I appreciate that you are fixing the bike right and not cheaping out. Marketplace is full of bikes where the owners have cheaped out and it always shows and the value in them reflects that. I buy 2 or 3 bikes a year and "restore them" back to straight from the factory quality and sell them to breakeven, this allows me to effectively ride for free and sell a bike that is better condition than when I bought it. I also feel good knowing the next owner has a reliable bike IF they take care of it.

@alanhall7213Ай бұрын
I've taken my MT-09 Gen 2 on weekend trips with no problem at all. I put a Puig screen on it... and I actually thinks it looks quite good. I also bought a Shad seat (official Yamaha accessory) and it makes a huge difference over the standard seat which I think is the worst part of the bike. Where I live 🇨🇦 heated grips are nice and the Yamaha ones I installed look good (no ugly box on the handlebars) work pretty well and are reasonably inexpensive.
