I will try these! I have been at my new workplace for about a year, and most of the time i am talking to my boss, who has a very weird way of speaking, from the way he sounds his words to how he pauses within and between senttences. It has started rubbing off on my and i dont like the way my voice sounds now after a day at the office. It also makes my throat all tired.

Bad advice if you stutter for no reason (This will just make things worse and confuse you), good advice if you are just nervous. Please don't try to advise people on something you never experienced. For my fellow stutterers you guys can check out Lee Lovett for more in-depth explanation of the cause of stutter and "potential" cure.

I didn't know how many people dealt with this. I've stuttered extremely bad basically my entire life, and I'm 32 now. I was bullied in school and over the years in many different situations, and that really diminished my confidence, which has affected my life in HUGE ways. I'm a really smart guy. But my stutter and my lack of confidence have kept me from pursuing ideas, women, jobs, and many other things. I also feel like I haven't allowed my brain to expand and absorb all the knowledge I could have because of the times I chose to be quiet and not pursue something because of the fear of being embarrassed and humiliated. I've dealt with severe depression and anxiety for most of my teenage and adult life, which also lead me down a dark path of addiction that controlled me for years. I was lucky enough to be able to get away from that lifestyle and I've been clean for about 4 years now. I've also dealt with a lot of suicidal thoughts and tendencies throughout my life, and have attempted it twice. One attempt was interrupted and the other just happened to fail. Unfortunately, I am currently homeless with no job, no friends or family that will help, and no way to get out of this very deep and miserable hole that I'm in. My life would have been SO different if I didn't stutter. It's honestly been such a bane of my existence and has caused me an immense and immeasurable amount of pain that I wouldn't wish on anyone. I don't think anyone will read this long ass comment, but it felt good to vent a bit and get it out, anyway. I just wish there was some kind of 'cure' that would make it go away.

Different people have different difficulties in life, it's nature of this life. I can feel you, I also had severe stutter but now it is better Alhamdulillah. Everybody faces difficulties in life, this life is designed in such a way. This life is a test and everybody is tested in this life. There is life after this life and that is real life. Paradise and Hell fire are real. God isn't unjust. You should read Quran at least once in your life. This worldly life is no more than play and amusement. But the Hereafter is indeed the real life, if only they knew. Quran (29:64)

Thank you for this wonderfully made video. I am an aspiring voice-over actor, and I have zero experience. I am a video game streamer, and so i use my voice a lot when i communicate on live stream. I have been told or asked even why I am not on the radio or voice acting because i have the "voice" for it. On a few occasions, people have said, " will you record yourself reading a bedtime story? I would play it so that your soothing voice can help me fall asleep" I do not say these things to boast but rather to give you an idea of why I am curious and why I have decided to pursue this further. I am going to subscribe because after watching this video and hearing your tips and advice, you have found not only a brand new follower but a new fan as well. I look forward to learning so much more from you!!!

this is really interesting because i experienced exzctly the same as you said, with one person when i speak in other languages, what i did is detect the feelings, anxiety, fear, etc and write how those feelings feel in a notebook, once i realized those, next time it happen i will understand that, for me was being not ready, after some practice it was easier and didnt happen again, breath is another thing people should do, some dont breath when anxious

When talk in person my voice sounds normal and on the deeper side but when I’m talking online with a headset I find my voice being more hoarse and croaky sometimes cracking, does anybody know why this is.
@rwdchannel290113 күн бұрын
My personal issues with being in groups is I'm highly sensitive, introverted, and I have a rare disease called Patulous Eustachian Tube Dysfunction(PET). PET can make it hard for me to talk normally at times because I can hear my own voice very loudly when I'm whispering and breathing, it can make it hard for me to breathe properly, and my physical stress levels rise faster than normal. If I do certain breathing exercises I can reverse PET. Having these combinations of things make speaking in public extremely uncomfortable for me.
